I purchased a shield from another manufacturer and although it was good quality, I did not get the results I wanted (still had a lot of turbulence behind the shield and from below). I reached out to Clearview Shields and they explained how a shield with a vent might work for me. I had to wait a little longer for my shield because the vent hardware was backordered but once it came in, I left the plastic on and went for a test ride. I can say the vent truly makes a difference in comfort behind the shield. I prefer to ride my Heritage without a shield most of the time, but when I will be doing longer rides and have one equipped, I know it will be very comfortable now. I got 19.5" , light gray, with black masking on the bottom. The overall appearance is close to stock, but the total functionality is way better. I'm really happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to use Clearview Shields in the future. If you have a Heritage Classic and are unsure about the vent, I can say it truly makes a difference in ride quality. Thanks again Clearview !

Material, fit and functionality all superb. It's just the best value out there. Even the attachment hardware is fantastic. Prior to this bike, I renewed the windshield on a R100S with OEM. Thinking that I should have ordered the next size down, this 20inch size might be too big for the Dynas front end.

5'10" rider -16inch 2024 rks--recurve, vent, clear--saddlemen road sofa--2nd clearview shield. on my 2014 rk, i have the same, except 17in. neither height is obtrusive, and both work well without buffeting, especially with the vent open. both bikes came with windshields that were hd stock height--18 or 18.5 in and were right in my line of sight and annoying. switching shields does not take long. i would not skimp on either the recurve nor the vent, since the recurve lets you go a little lower and the vent is handy in the hot time of year (like now).

This is my second shield from Clearview, I have the clear version of the same shield, both are great. After purchasing the first shield I wanted to try a different style and company, I should have stayed with the Clearview brand, the other company's product was inferior. So, the logical choice was another superb product from this company. The fit and finish are excellent.

Its a very tall windshield, but I ordered it like that. The quality of the material is crazy thick! It doesn't move or flex at all. Overall, great option for me and my bike. It will allow me a lot of comfort on my long rides. Thanks.

I am 6’-3” and ride 2007 Softail Deluxe and I went with 19.5 inch and it is perfect. I can see over it but the air still doesn’t hit me like it did with the stock shield. I used cardboard and taped it to the original short shield to figure out height I could still see over

I couldn't be more pleased with the entire transaction. I called with a few questions, which were promptly answered to the fullest, and the order for a replacement windshield was placed. Upon receipt, as scheduled, I replaced the old with a new and updated recurved windshield. It was an easy install and fit perfectly. It also surprised me how a small recurve can make so much difference in noise and wind buffeting my head.
My thanks to the entire Clearview staff. I work in the motorcycle industry and recommended Clearview to a recent customer asking about a Rod King replacement windshield without hesitation. Great show, folks!!!

Clearview definitely delivered a quality shield which is very sturdy and well made for my 25 FXLRS. I went with a 14” dark smoke and still have a few inches to look over it. (I’m 5’10” w/ saddleman seat)

I really appreciate the choice of heights.
This one is 1” taller than the famous name brand curved windshield I had that was delaminating. That 1” difference reduced the head buffeting considerably. Thank you for offering so many height options.
I also really appreciated that you included a base gasket and foam as well as new well nuts and screws!
If/when my 97 Fatboy needs a new one I’ll be back.

Went from a 21 inch to 16.5 inch with recurve. I’m short so i was looking through the shield. Ok until you get fogged up. The new shield with the recurve pushes more air providing a much more comfortable ride. Communication with ClearviewShields was outstanding. Thank you Craig

This windshield pretty much eliminated the buffetting that I experienced with the HD stock windshield. I'm about 5'8" tall; the height of this windshield works well for my height.

I was very happy to see the protection provided for shipping. The material quality and tint was just what I expected. The Shield is for a '96 side car that I have installed ona 90 model Shriner's FLHTCU. I am restoring it after a crash. The rig is my wife's show bike and has was a trophy in every show it has entered. I am very pleased with the way the shield stands out . I think it will stand out better the the original full size shield. Only thing is the arch is about 1/4" to acute and the center has to be force down at the center mounting screw but all holes have slack for some movement. Due to winter temps. I used a hair dryer to help the center to pull down into position with no problem for the mounting hardware. The wife is very happy as well.

Took less than 30 minutes to switch the hardware to the new shield. Lead time was just as promised and the shield was well packaged for shipment. Would recommend Clearview to anyone looking for a replacement shield!

Very clear and perfect fitment. Also seems slightly thicker than OEM which leads me to believe it is sturdier. Long wait time though (six weeks) but as this is old equipment it's understandable parts won't be readily available and may require fabrication. Good to know there are still companies that can do this.

Much better than OEM windscreen. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the horizontal curvature is slightly different enough that the windshield cover/fascia doesn’t fit quite right when reinstalled. However, that doesn’t affect performance and is a minor issue, at least for me.
