This really helps reduce the helmet buffeting, I’m a tall guy on a tall seat, with the windscreen mounted on a KLR dash and the tall windshield just about solves the buffeting. It felt like my head was in a grinder before, and now a little shaking at highway speed.
Upgrades
Product appears to be well designed and fabricated all so the price is very reasonable.

I am very pleased with this product, it fit well and was able to mount in a reasonable amount of time . It works better than the taller one I first installed , It had too much distortion when I tried to look thru it, an expensive lesson . I should have purchased the shorter one first.
good product
exactly what I was looking for, and arrived well-protected in the shipping box. holes are right size and correct location.
Great windshield
This is my 4th windshield I bought from Clearview. Great product and can’t go wrong!
Never got it! Just confusion!!
I believe you cancelled the order which is why it never shipped
Fits well, looks great on the bike. Seems very durable and well made.

I just wanted to thank Ryan for a Quality Product and Great Coustom Service . When I purchased my KLR I new there were several things I wanted to up grade, one being the stock windshield. The stock windshield did not offer much protection or any buffeting from the wind, so I spent many hours on the internet reading forms, browsing manufacturers websites along with speaking to several people at stores. Most of them were not much help until I called Clear View and spoke directly to the owner Ryan Stenger, he spent the time with me on what bike I was putting their windshield on, type of riding and in what condition I would be riding in.
I told him which windshield I was considering purchasing and then he offered me some suggestions. Man was I glad I listened to him, he was spot on. I could not be happier with there craftsmanship and customer service.
Thank Again Ryan & Craig

Quality shield and wonderful wind protection on my KLR 19" shield; wind hits the top of my helmet (I'm 6 feet tall). Very quiet air space behind the shield thanks to the 1" gap for air to flow thru. BUT, the dealer pre-installed this onto the new KLR I purchased from him thus I didn't realize the shield was supposed to be mounted over the original shield. I've experienced 2 lost screws due to KLR vibration in 500 miles. The dealer re-ordered parts and re-installed with lock-tight liquid. I subsequently had two screws loosen up during the next 500 miles (about half of the miles were dirt roads). The 'nuts' installed in the 1" thick 'gaskets' appear to be turning thus 2 of the 4 screws are not truly tight. Had to place tape over the screws to ensure no more get lost and for the shield to remain solidly in place. Makes me wonder if the dealer-install caused vibration issues for the mounting system?

Last August I rode the KLR about 5000 miles up and across the Trans Labrador "Highway" (currently mostly unpaved), then through Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick, returning via Maine & NH. Speeds ranged from 20 mph and bumps for miles - up to 85 mph. On the TLH, lots of 50mph over bumpy gravel roads and naturally, vibration. The CS small GT shield continues to work like a champ.
