When I bought my 2019 Indian Springfield new, I tossed the OEM windshield as fast as I could. I ended up buying a competitor windshield and have been using it up until about a month or so ago when I realized it was time to get a new one. I decided to go with Clearview Shields based on reviews and the price.
The windshield installed easily and it looks great. The recurve at the top is critical for minimizing wind buffeting. It’s slightly wider than my previous winshield and the oem one, but that will reduce buffeting even more.
The build quality is top notch. I expect it to last a long time.

It’s a great product but unfortunately for me it was still to tall. I was looking right at the upper edge of the windshield. If the 11.2 that I initially purchased could have been found it would have been perfect. Once I sell my 12.5 I will order a custom height windshield. I’m a big fan of Clearview.

Other than an extended completion time, the windshield is excellent, fits well, had very little issues with transferring the hardware from the old windshield.

The windshield (large, GT, vented) is a big improvement over stock. I am 6ft 185lbs.
Positives:
1) Excellent wind protection. The windshield blocks more air than a failing on my road glide.
2) Hands are out of the wind.
3) Very little wind noise.
4) Opening the vent minimizes buffeting.
Negatives
1) Even with the vent open I get a noticeable buffeting on the back of the full face helmet.
2) The air pressure changes are felt. The motorcycle slows down as it penetrates through gusts of wind unlike the road glide that just cuts through air.

After 2 weeks of use, I can tell you this is the finest windscreen I’ve had, and it raises the bar significantly over the stock windscreen, backing up my claim that the Springfield is the finest motorcycle that Indian makes. Install was straight forward…the extra 3″ of width gets my hands out of the breeze, a game changer….the height is the same as stock, but the re-curve keeps both our helmets out of the wind stream…I would recommend this product to any biker.
The only downfall was the month-long build & ship, but in this case it’s true the best is always worth the wait!
