All of our Harley Davidson replacement windshields have been designed with the top edge ever so slightly bent upward to provide 1.5 to 2″ of lift to the air stream without creating large amounts of turbulence and distortion that can be found in competing replacements. learn more

- Clearview Shields offers their 5 Position Vent located center screen just above the Fairing. The vent helps to balance pressure behind the screen which smooths the air around the rider. Excellent feature for those long cross country rides.

I had a clockworks windshield this replaced it after it cracked. This is a lot better no buffering and love the size of it. And of course the clearness of it.

Product is professionally manufactured. The vent feature definitely improves the air redirection. Helmet buffeting is reduced significantly. Any remaining buffeting appears to be coming from wind flow from under the handle bars. Will have to look into fork mount wind deflectors.

I ordered this because my wife didn’t like all the wind from the shorter (other brand) that was on my bike when I bought it. I ordered the extra large and was worried that it wasn’t going to look good, but it looks great and keeps the wind off her good enough that she can wear a ball cap and it stays on just fine.

Follow their instructions for sizing and you will be very happy with the results. I have had several motorcycles with stock wind shields , but these shields work for me. I have a 10 inch clear screen on a 2003 hd electra glide. It is optically clear and easy to clean. Thanks for a wind screen that actually works as advertised !

The fifth windshield from Clearview I own. The latest is a look-through Sculpted GT – X-large 12″ in Smoke for a 2012 Electra Glide Classic. At 75mph with a 9″ Sculpted GT I get some buffeting that just barely nibbles the top of my helmet under most conditions. Now with the X-Large there isn’t any buffet under most conditions. A 25 knot crosswind was enough to create some and downhill runs can cause some buffeting also. I’ve run 3 “Other” types of windshields Ace – Streams and OEM with some success but the Clearview Shield is the one I always go back to. Water to wash and any “Quick” wax and the original I have has lasted for 62 thousand miles and 17 years! No better bang for the buck than that in this day and age.

I’ve used OEM windshields on my bike since I purchased it new in 2009. It was time to purchase a new one and after shopping the vendors at various biker events and searching the internet, I found this company. The reviews were heavy on the positive side and the pricing was right. Simply stated, it does what the website tells you it does. We went to the 2023 Harley Davidson Homecoming event this July, putting the windshield through highway miles, slow, winding two lane miles, and city miles. We experienced rain and sunshine, bugs and debris, and the windshield held up great. I experienced less buffeting on the top of my helmet and more of the rain was pushed up and over both of us. Make sure you understand your riding style when measuring (looking THROUGH or looking OVER) the windshield. They customer service will answer any questions you have. They hooked me up so I had my windshield before the trip to Milwaukee and I couldn’t be happier with the investment.

Windshield arrived in the window they stayed, extremely well packaged. Follow the directions and they install easily! Their name is ClearView and that’s exactly what it is!! Super clear and zero distortion! Functionality seems to be great so far! Pushes the wind over my head and also out and away from me hands. I’m a fan!

The stock screen on my 2013 Ultra Classic did not work for the one size fits all. I am 6’4″ and the stock wind-shield is actually too tall (who knew) and decided on a large, 10.5″L (lowering the height ~2″), +5″W, Light Gray tint with 5 position vent. This windshield is extremely well finished and a perfect fit. With these dimensions I can, in my normal riding position just see over it and I can comfortably slump down slightly behind the Windshield as required. The 5-position vent works exceptionally well and drastically reduces wind noise under 55mph when open and is a breath of fresh air (pun intended) during these 100*F humid Kentucky days. Air flow goes straight over me and the passenger. Totally recommend these windshield. It has drastically improved the ride comfort. Definitely a five-star product.

The quality of the windshield material itself is great. However, the 5 position vent rattles at most speeds and can’t be tightened because of the spacers it uses. It also took a long time to get.

Professionally crafted windshield that completely changed the experience of riding a batwing for me. No wind in the face or helmet bobble making it possible for my old neck to be able to comfortably ride 600 miles in a day and feel good afterwards. The adjustable vent performed just like I had hoped and really helped the batwing buffering I was feeling at highway speeds, bike is definitely more stable at high speeds now. Excellent product that looks killer, performs perfectly and is well worth the money!

Great window. The fourth Clearview window I’ve used, 2012 Electra Glide – as smooth a pocket as some other works windows I’ve used. 1990 Sport Glide 2 heights and a 2014 Street Glide. All work as stated. Clean them as recommended and they last for years. Service at the shop is great and their projected fulfillment time for orders is very realistic. Thanks for the smooth air.

2011 Ultra Limited – I am a very happy customer. I received my Clearview Shield 18 days after ordering (including weekends), which was faster than expected. The shield was packaged very well and was flawless on delivery. Using the sizing guide I ordered the large recurve with GT (wide) cut in light gray so that I could see over the top but still have full coverage. I was very skeptical about the claims from some reviews that they could hear the radio better. So before installing the new shield I took a ride up the highway listening to CCR “Run Through the Jungle.” I left the volume set at that same point, then after installing the new shield rode the same route, same speed, song, and volume level. I was amazed at how much clearer I could hear the radio! I am 6’0’ with a 34” inseam; stock seat and bars, and a little bit of a slouch when I ride. The stock 12” shield was right in my line of sight. The large (10.5”) is perfect for me. Just below my line of sight, but the recurve and GT cut do wonders to get the air over and around me and my passenger. Both my wife and daughter noticed a big difference riding on the back. Amazing how a shorter shield can provide better wind protection. This is the shield that my fairing was meant to have! I could not be happier with this purchase

Ordered the GT Scalloped cut with vent for my Harley Ultra. Very impressed with the quality and function of the windshield.
With the design of the windshield it was possible to go a lot lower height than the stock and still not have the wind beating you up, plus with the vent less buffering.
I also like that you can clean and treat it with original Rainx!

The quality is top notch, and staff is accommodating. I returned the first shield, because it was too tall and dark. RMA was easy, and they shipped me a newer model that was shorter and less dark. However because of back orders I wasn’t able to get a vent. A real bummer.

Works great best windshield for my bikes
This is my second shield. The first was on a previous Electra Limited. I’ve tried many others that cost lot more and was very unhappy. I only use Clearview Shields on bikes. I use what works. Craftsmanship and value is beyond great. Communication with Clearview Shirlds is a plus feel get more personal relationship from a great company.

I purchased the tallest windshield they showed for my 08 Ultra and I am still looking 3″ over the top. The buffeting is reduced as the shield has recurve and is slightly closer to me. I have purchased windshields since the company started and have been pleased. I just wish there was a windshield that was taller. Maybe they can reduce my seat thickness.

Project on this bike took a little longer than I thought it would, however I finally got everything buttoned up and was able to put about 100 miles on yesterday. Could not be happier with the protection this windshield offers! It gives air without being blasted. Temperatures were in the high 50s to low 60s and this windshield provided enough protection to keep me comfortable. Thank you again for a great product!

Nice shield but I screwed up. I ordered the scalloped cut because I think it looks great. It is only slightly wider than stock though which was what I was after. Should have ordered the standard cut. The scalloped cut isn’t wide enough.

Awesome windshield! I had to have the windshield for a ride to the Blackhills. Clear shield was able to a. accommodate my request and meet my timeline. Put the shield on my 2013 Ultra and so glad I had it on for the ride. My wife can’t believe how much wind reduction there was on her due to the extra width we ordered. Makes her ride even better. This is my second shield from Clearview. Due to my height, I wanted a higher shield but not too high and the curve gives wind protection of a higher shield while keeping the shield shorter. The fit is perfect on my 2013 HD Ultra CVO. It is very sturdy and the quality is great.

I have used Clearview Shields for 11 years love the air deflection that the recurve gives. I like looking over my wind screen and the small recurve provides wind deflection without the tall screen
