I had the original indian quick release windshield, it was 17 inches high from tank. I am 5'10 . The buffeting and straight line wind coming over the top of the shield was terrible. I added the lowers and it solved the buffeting problem but of course not the straight wind. I have since added the clearview medium windscreen and problem solved ! Very comfortable ride . These items do what they say, thanks guys keep up the good work!

The lowers from Clearview Shields are very robust and seem to do the job as advertised. It lowers noise caused by the stock Indian 18" windscreen, which was very loud. The only problem was that the standard indicators had to be adjusted to point down slightly to prevent rubbing on the shields. Fitting was easy and took less than 2 beers. I would recommend this product.

I do believe that the lowers did add stability to my Scout at highway speeds where it always felt a bit unstable; especially when following large trucks. Though a little tight, they fit well and are unobtrusive. I have a stock Indian quick disconnect windshield.

As far as the product I can't say because I traded bikes before I received them because I needed something bigger. They were quick to respond to emails and refunded my order as I no longer needed them. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future for a new windshield for my Chief.

After installing my new windshield I got horrible wind pounding my helmet from the lower chin side. holding my legs up on sides of my tank cured it. After some quick internet searches I found out I needed lower fork guards. Thank you clearview shields!

Great product!! Cuts wind buffeting by probably 85% compared to without. I’m 5’10” with 21” OEM windshield on my Scout. Would rattle my brain without the lowers. Added stability to the bars also when cruising down the highway. Easy to install. Only disappointment was I had to reach out to customer service as there was no instructions or information for installation. Curtis in customer service sent pics and info right away. Kudos to him for speed of reply. Close to 400 miles on these already and truly enjoy them.

I installed and road tested the lowers today, and submitted a review to your website. The quality of the lowers is excellent.....they look good and are a perfect fit. I am very pleased with their performance. It was very windy today, perfect to test them out. Helmet buffeting was pretty much eliminated....no more vibration of visor, and a quieter ride now behind my stock windshield. I rode at speed into a headwind, with tailwinds, and with strong side winds. In all cases, the front end of the bike felt more stable, and seemed in better contact with the road. As you know the front end of the scout can feel like it's really being moved around in heavy wind . With the fork lowers, I felt more relaxed.....and less effort was necessary to keep on track. A good looking improvement to both buffeting and stability. Thanks again for the pictures.....they clarified positioning perfectly.

These lowers are a must if you are considering the windscreen. Huge reduction in buffeting with a full face modular helmet not rocking your head around and making your neck sore. They really make the Scout feel more planted especially around trucks on the highway. Look at the pictures carefully to make sure your signals position is the same to get the best benefit. Great product!

These Clearview Lowers are AWESOME! It's almost like i have a different bike altogether! Even with a big windshield, highway speeds would KILL my scout. After adding these Lowers my bike handles great on the highway AND at lower speeds also! CRAZY HAPPY!!
