The windshield itself is good. 2 of the mounting bolt holes were off and would not fit without opening/slotting holes. The package said the “hardware is included” – but, in fact was not included.

These shields are high quality and I love the extra width. I bought my bike used and don’t believe the windshield was installed properly and came off on my way to New Mexico. I placed an order Saturday morning and called and left a message stating my situation and asked if they could please make sure it shipped on Monday as I was going to be in the same location for several days. I received a voicemail from a very kind gentlemen that told me it was in stock and he would make sure it shipped Monday. It did in fact ship Monday afternoon and I received tracking that evening. The windshield arrived Wednesday afternoon and we had it installed in about 10 or 15 minutes. These are great windshields and I am a customer for life! Thank you!

There may be some cheaper aftermarket vents out there that can be used on our screen. Obviously we can refund the vent purchase price if you do find something. We look forward to your decision.

This is the second Clearview windshield I’ve purchased . Both have been extremely clear and of very high quality. If you clean them properly, they are pretty much scratch resistant. This company is easy to do business with, very helpful and honest! Quality people with a lot of integrity.

Little more difficult to mount due to the rubber grommets not staying in place. Finally got it mounted with 2 grommets not in place. Hope its not a problem. But other than that a great well made perfectly sized shield.

Our Fab technicians are instructed to apply a thin layer of blue masking over the Shoulder washers you mentioned in your review along with a label asking the rider not to remove it for the exact same reason you had issues with. They may have overlooked that and i do apologize if that is the case. Regardless the screen will still function as designed so no worries if you are missing a few. Thanks you for the review and Enjoy the screen.

Good product, fits perfect , nice look and protection. Also delivery to Europe goes well.
One point of attention, do not forget to add your country VAT (tax) to the Total invoice amount. This came for me as an unpleasant surprise at the post office .

Great shield! Delivered on time; easy installation on my 2007 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. High quality. Perfect fit. Ordered the large 21″ (1.5″ lower than stock) to replace a short windshield. Take their advice if not sure which one to order, and order the shorter one. Eliminated my helmet buffeting problem on all my Yamahas. This is my third Royal Star. No problem for the passenger either. Love the extra width, too!

Windshield came very well packed. It also was carefully, completely covered with a thick protective plastic. Simple installation, removal of one strip of plastic chrome, and it is completely visible. On my 2009, some of the nuts in the steel plate in the back popped out of line when the old windshield came off, but simply used a thin punch to realign so I could slip the windshield in.
Crystal clear. The vent works perfectly, the real reason I bought it. Old windshield was taller, no vent, which not only made the motorcycle buffet a bit at speed, it created this hot bubble right behind it, where I sit. This windshield cures all that.
Absolutely love it. Now have Clearviews on both of my Yamaha Ventures.

I am on my second shield now. Had the first one for about 7 years and its still looking pretty good. Bought my next one when a special was ran and I noticed many small improvements over the original one. Cant say anything wrong about this shield. One of the best investments I have made to this bike.

Just got back from my Florida trip and wanted to give you an update on the performance of the windshield I received from you. To sum it up in one word….AWESOME! It was a joy to ride with.. no buffeting, very little wind noise, perfect height to see over. I think the biggest plus is the fact that my wife also enjoyed the ride with it. Just put some miles on the 99 Royal Star Venture with my new Clearview 18″XL vented shield. I’m absolutely thrilled with the way it complements the bikes lines, Yamaha should really consider using your new design right from the factory! At 6’03” 33″ leg inseam my view falls 1inch below the top of the shield. Absolutely no head or should buffeting even when trucks pass. Awsome dead air space, vent works so well I may never put the shortie shield back on during the summer months!

Pics of my 2000 Royal Star Venture Millennium with the Clearview shield with the vent. It’s taller and wider than the stock. Have only been a shot distance(30 Miles) after installing but already noticed much less buffeting even on the passenger. Thanks for an outstanding product.

Here is a picture of my Royal Star Venture Limited 2000 with a Clearview replacement GT Medium with tint and vent. This windshield has cut down on the head buffet and the air vent is a nice addition to keeping cool on hot days. The craftsmanship of this product is superb.

The windshield I had you make for my 99 Venture is two inches wider than your XXL. As you can see it fits the bike perfectly! I really like the thickness of the shield compared to my last one. I was impressed with the engineering of the product with the curvature and fit of your product. I had once purchased a windshield where in high winds the front end would oscillate with the wind buffeting. I have not found that with your product. Also, this is the first time I have had a vent in the windshield. It is a nice addition for riding here in California where we can ride year round.

I am 6 ft tall even. If I had it over to do again I’d probably go with a replacement about in inch shorter. It may be too early to tell, I’ve only put on about 250 miles. Your’s is very much better than the stock Yamaha I had, which was the tall one. So now I see the top of the shield when with the too tall one I did not. I suspect I will adjust soon.
