There are 2 different bracket styles that are offered to fit the Heritage Softail / Fat Boy / and Deluxe models. Please choose the style of brackets that match what is currently on your bike now.
Heritage Softail 00-17 replacement windshields fits ’00-’17 FLS, FLSS, FLST, FLSTC, FLSTF, FLSTFB. FLSTFBS models equipped with auxiliary lighting, including models equipped with docking hardware kit #91800025
Heritage Softail 18-Present replacement windshields fits ’18-later FLDE, FLHC and FLHCS models.

We engineer our Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Windshields and Motorcycle windscreens to exceed your expectations through rigorous testing. During the final stages of product development, we send out samples of our designs to different riders for review and feedback to refine the finished product. These individuals are asked for their body height, inseam, and any existing Bike mods/modifications. This information gives us valuable data when determining best windshield size for each individual rider. This data is available to you to use for comparison for your own body size and riding needs. I originally had the 18” with recurve but wanted more protection from the buffeting. This fits the bill. It is not only taller and wider, but extends further down than the standard windshield. The main problem with the smaller shield was the turbulence coming from around the tank area. This shield comes down far enough and covers the tops of the “fangs” which eliminates that. Makes the ride MUCH more comfortable.

Second windshield I’ve bought from them. The quality is second to none. 2006 Heritage with 18in recurve in light gray standard width. Im able to see over it and it pushes the air over my wife eliminating her head buffeting.

The Light Gray Windshield, is a lot better than the Harley Stock One… This Windshield is more durable and thicker… Looks Very Nice. Can’t go wrong with, Clearview Shields…

Just wanted to drop a note to thank you for your shield. I couldn’t be happier, and even though Craig said that there was an imperfectiont in it, I certainly haven’t been able to find it. It’s a perfect size, so your instructions are spot on. When I put it on, I thought it may be too short (15”) but I took it out on the highway at 80 MPH, and wearing my normal aviator glasses, my eyes were dry and the wind was not bothering me at all. I get all the benefits of being in the wind without the direct face hit that I was getting before.

Craig – I have now been able to test your windshield for several thousand miles, and I must say it does everything you claimed it would. Primarily, it eliminates almost all of the wind buffeting that was hitting my head. The height is spot-on and there is absolutely no vision distortion around the edges like so may other windshields have. It also does a fantastic job of keeping the bugs and rain off me.
Thanks for your help with my selection. You have created a great product. If/when I trade bikes, I’ll most likely be needing another Clearview recurve shield.
