Our New Harley Davidson Low Rider ST Windshield Design
Clearview Shields new Harley Low Rider ST windshield ensures a quiet comfortable ride over the stock screen. With improved design ques to insure optimal wind management. Increased width and recurve design help to move the air around the passenger while providing a clear view of the road. Along with the increased width and recurve design, we have also changed the approach angle for optimal coverage.
New Sport Model Screen

The new Sport screen will come standard in stock width and no recurve.
Our Sport screen was designed to provide more protection over your stock screen keeping turbulent air off your chest, and allowing the rider to sit in clean air moving over the top of the screen.
While maintaining better coverage then the stock screen our windshield keeps the clean look of Harley’s OEM 6″ windshield.
Height
Do to the angle change of our windshield Clearview Shields has moved to a vertical height measurement, in addition to length enhancements
Note: Screen is measured vertically from vent exit on inner fairing to top edge of screen (stock screen measures 8″ vertically)

Sport- 10″ vertical (Stock width 1″ longer then the stock screen)
Small- 11.25″ vertical (2.5″ Longer than stock 1.5″ wider than stock)
Medium- 12.25″ vertical ( 3.5″ Longer than stock 1.5″ wider then stock)
Large- 13.75″ vertical (5″ Longer than the stock screen 1.5″ wider then stock)
X-L- 14.75″ vertical ( 6.5″ Longer than the stock screen 1.5″ wider then stock)
Width
The new Clearview Shields Low Rider ST windshield is 1.5″ wider than the stock screen to improve wind management. This measurement is from the widest point to point across the back of the screen.

The increased width will create a bigger pocket of air for the rider. Helping to reduce wind noise and buffeting at high speeds.
Tint
Clearview Shields offers three available tint options for the Low Rider ST. (Gallery pictures show 11″ Dark Grey)
(Dark gray is out of stock)

Light Grey- 86% Transmission
Smoke- 80% Transmission
Medium Gray = 57% Transmission
Dark Grey- 35% Transmission
Vent
Clearview Shields Low Rider ST screen will come with the option of a no vent or vent.
Vent Delete
The benefit of deleting the vent is keeping the rain and debris off of the rider. The vent delete also gives the screen a cleaner look.

Vented
The vented screen will help reduce head buffeting by allowing airflow in the low pressure zone behind the windshield. This will create a bigger pocket of air for the rider to sit in.

While there is pros and cons to the two screens both the vented and non-vented screens will offer optimal protection over the stock Harley screen.
Recurve
Clearview Shields recurve design gives an additional 2″ of lift off the top edge. For example the 11″ recurve screen will offer the same protection as a 13″ tall screen. Clearview Shields designs the recurve to increase lift with minimal distortion to the screen.

Awesome product!

I purchased the 11 in smoked. Looks great and it does exactly what I was hoping for. I was looking for less helmet buffeting at higher speeds. I’m 5’6 and its night and day in my regular slouched riding position.

Dam worth the wait! The pricing, the quality, the customer service. Everything was top notch!
I’m 6ft and ended up going with the Medium height. In my opinion looks killer! and best part no wind buffeting in city and highway riding. ( went to Mexico to try out those top speeds ;).

Excellent fit and function

Product quality is excellent.
It was packed very well protected in the box that it came in.
I would say it increased my wind coverage considerably from stock fxlrst Shield.
I’m in Toronto Canada shipping only took 5 days.
Communication with Clearview through email was excellent response time.
Overall I would recommend this Shield to anyone looking for stylish functional Shield for their lowrider ST.

Attached are some pictures of my bike with the windshield. It works perfectly. Before finding Clearview I tried the stock shield, the higher one that HD sells, and Klockwerx. They all produced a lot of buffeting in my face. Clearview solved the problem!
Thanks/Scott

A superior product in all aspects: material and manufacturing, quality, options and COST. Other providers just don’t compare Clearview Shields including OEM.

I ended up purchasing a blemished one so I could get it sooner, wasn’t happy that the website allowed me to order even though they were on back order🤦🏻♂️ Felt like the good oh bait and switch . Any how they offered the blemished one at a discounted rate works good I’m 5’7 my Bell helmet modular is noisey to begin with but definitely better looking than the KW 10” and definitely feel the wind off my chest, Running a LePera seat.
Holes don’t really line up like they should not sure what version I have either

Perfect.

Went from stock to a harley 10 inch tall shield, which was an improvement but not near as good as the medium height clearview in dark gray tint especially the added width! Fit was perfect and it looks great! Very happy with purchase!

I am pleasantly surprised how well this wind screen works. I let a friend try out the bike today and he feels the same way. Excellent wind protection, no shake from very high speeds. And if needed when ducking behind in the rain no distortion. It is 3½ inches taller than stock.

Really helped to cut down the wind slap on my Low Rider ST. Easy to install.

I went for a pre-Easter Day ride and the windshield worked very well. I experienced much less wind buffeting as well as less noise. Would I purchase another Clearview windshield? Definitely YES!
Xlgoat –
I went with the XL and i am 101 percent satisfied. Installed quickly and looks amazing. It also took away the insane helmet buffering at high speed. I highly recommend this shield if you are fortunate enough to own a Lowrider ST.

It was Worth the wait, excellent product better then other brands I’ve had…

Looks amazing. Fits perfectly. Wind deflection is much improved over stock. The only suggestion I have is to include black nylon washers (or new grommets) with the purchase. Because the windshield is heavier gauge than the stock windshield, to ensure the fit is snug you have to properly torque the screws (not too tight) and the screw heads tend to pull through the rubber grommets that came with the stock windshield.

Thank you for your review. We do include an option hardware pack with all Low rider ST screens. I will reach out to you to see if you want the set. They are free for any past customer who has purchased a screen from us we only ask you to cover the mailing cost.

I bought a competitors windshield for my Low Rider ST. I’m 5’11” and that windshield did nothing to keep the wind off my face/head.
I just installed my Clearview Shield and, while I can still feel a bit of wind, most of it just travels up over my head. I’m happy and the bike is happy.

I am 5’9” and this windshield made a huge difference at 70mph and below. I bought the small because I wanted to be able to see above the windshield when I ride and to keep as much as possible the original bike look. I still get some air on top of the helmet at high speeds, but it is not uncomfortable. It took 4 weeks for the product to arrive, but it was worth the waiting time since by then they had improved the product (2nd gen) and corrected the initial fitting issues. I definitely recommend it.

“Hey this is Tom I received my shield today thank you. Just wanna give you a quick feedback on it. It is excellence 100% perfect the fit was so easy dead perfect. I have to wear reader glasses to see what I’m doing but I didn’t I just looked at stuff and kinda put it together without being able to see things are super good focus and everything just bam perfect there on looks excellent. Could not be happier with the product. So just want to share that with you your second generation. I don’t know what was wrong with your first generation of course I wasn’t around then but yeah this is this is super nice super super nice. Thank you very much very satisfied. You can call if you wanna talk to me about it specifically but thank you again. Have a good day. Bye bye.”

5’8″
I didn’t hate the stock screen. However, the medium w/ vent improved things greatly over stock. Large would probably have been better @ highway speeds, but I didn’t want to sacrifice wind flow around town…and like I said, I never hated the stock piece so wasn’t looking for Gold Wing peace in the saddle.
I can ride helmet visor up, no problem to 60mph. Over 70, very mild buffeting depending on wind direction and speed. Much quieter than stock regardless of condition.
Recommended purchase for FXLRST.

Good affordable windshield.

I ordered 01/02/23 and received the first generation windscreen. The windshield shipped before I expected and was delivered well packaged and undamaged. I inspected the product and was happy with the materials and condition.
After installation the windshield fit was poor. The product didn’t fit well within the windshield fairing channel. The vent opening did not align well with the vent opening and the outside edges of the windshield did not follow the conures of the fairing.
The performance of the windshield was a huge improvement over stock. It considerably reduced the noise in my helmet and the little bit of extra width helped to get more of my shoulders into the pocket. At 5’11 the medium has the wind hitting right at the top of my visor which was an improvement over the large HD shield in my opinion.
I know Clearview Shields came out with a Gen 2 windshield very soon after the release of the original product that addressed the fitment issues. I recently sent them an email requesting a replacement an have not received a response.
Craig Stenger –
Hey Johnny, We received your request for a warranty replacement, just waiting on your visual proof of fitment issues so we can start the warranty process.

Install was very easy, the fit and finish is prettygood. Wind protection is a 1000 times better than the stock windshield, and very little buffering over 80 mph. I’m very happy with my purchase and would 100% recommend.
Jamal Zughayar –
Good windshield,
Thicker than the factory one
2.5 inches taller than the factory at 5’10” no more buffeting on my helmet
Clean finish
Easily installs
Dustin –
First and foremost, the quality is excellent! You can tell they care about their product and getting it to you without any hassle or damage. The fitment could be a little cleaner. The shield doesn’t fit exactly flush against the weather strip, but it does seal. The tabs on the end come up off the fairing some, and while an eyesore it doesn’t have any negative effect. For reference I am 6ft tall and my seat sits me about an inch higher than stock seat. Around town, the shield does great and I like having it there. However, at about 70mph you’ll get some minor buffeting. At 90mph it becomes aggressive buffeting that I would not want to put up with for very long. The buffeting hits right at the top of my helmet, and as it builds it comes around the sides as well. Due to the design of the bike, I don’t think a shield could be made any wider or at less of a steep angle without it coming in contact with the stock handlebars. All in all it’s a good shield, but I was hoping for better performance and better fitment. As one of the three available options for this bike, I’d still recommend it.

Thanks for the review Dustin. First Gen was designed around the Basic ST dash configuration. We since then have found the Audio upgrade slightly changed the fit on the lower 2 mounts which we have fixed on all new releases as of 1/2/23(2 Gen) We will be reaching out to you to discuss options for getting you the correct screen, if you wish to pursue that option. Thank you again for your feed back and we look forward to correcting the issue.
