The lowers from Clearview Shields are very robust and seem to do the job as advertised. It lowers noise caused by the stock Indian 18" windscreen, which was very loud. The only problem was that the standard indicators had to be adjusted to point down slightly to prevent rubbing on the shields. Fitting was easy and took less than 2 beers. I would recommend this product.

I bought the 18 inch recurve shield for my Heritage Classic from Clearview and it works great. It's nice and stable and shields the wind.

It’s been 6 weeks today (Nov. 13th). However, I can say kudos to you for letting us know there is a delay and offered to send without the vent or give a refund. But 6 weeks?

I found Clearview Shields, sent an email with the specs and they quickly returned with a suggestion. They also made sure to mention that as long as the protective masking is left on, I could check it out and return if it wasn't right!
I purchased the 10.5" for winter riding which means I have to look *through* the windshield instead of over it which is new for me. The windshield is so clear though that it actually improves my vision just a bit! I was a little surprised and kept checking that, but it does. That's not a medical claim for this product and it's probably specific to my eyesight, but it is actually the case for me!
The cleaning instructions are a nice added touch that shows that they care about the customer experience. Highly recommended.

So here's a bit of background: I'm a fellow about 6' 1" tall with a 32" inseam. I just started riding and really love the quiet ride of the Goldwings. The noise on my PC800 was incredibly obnoxious compared to that! My PC came with the stock, shorter, windscreen, which dumped the air about at chin level and made a tremendous turbulence racket!
I have sensitive ears, and I noticed that I would get a little deaf on half-hour rides if my earplugs weren't in all the way. I also like to ride as much as possible, even in inclement weather. The stock windshield made the bike feel cold compared to the Goldwing.
I bought the Clearview that was 5" taller than stock with no vents. It made a huge difference! The wind noise is basically gone, there's definitely no turbulence, I can see just above the shield, and almost all the air goes right over my head! It's great!
The bike is noticeably more comfortable to ride in cold weather now, and visibility is still great. I can ride comfortably without earplugs. My only regret is that I didn't get the Goldwing-style vent. I think I'll miss that next summer when it warms up. Overall, though, I love the shield and it was worth every penny!

I ordered the standard windshield for my 2013 Honda Goldwing and needed a rush due to an impending trip. I used my existing vent insert. Installation was easy and then took a 10 day trip of over 1500 miles and it performed flawlessly. The windshield is very clear and great quality. Making height adjustments was easy. The existing vent fit well but does stick a little when opening and closing. No big deal though. Certainly a product I would recommend and buy again if needed.

Just wanted to give a follow up update to the windshield. When I first tested the windshield it was still pretty cold and I was not doing much riding. After 8000 miles this season I can truly say that the Clearview exceeds the OEM windshield, it has less buffeting, more wind protection and the vents are a lifesaver when the temps reach over 100* here, yeah its still warm air but you have a lot more airflow that makes it way more comfortable.
I can only recommend, if you need a windshield whether as a replacement or just want a shield get a Clearview, its an awesome product.

I've used OEM windshields on my bike since I purchased it new in 2009. It was time to purchase a new one and after shopping the vendors at various biker events and searching the internet, I found this company. The reviews were heavy on the positive side and the pricing was right. Simply stated, it does what the website tells you it does. We went to the 2023 Harley Davidson Homecoming event this July, putting the windshield through highway miles, slow, winding two lane miles, and city miles. We experienced rain and sunshine, bugs and debris, and the windshield held up great. I experienced less buffeting on the top of my helmet and more of the rain was pushed up and over both of us. Make sure you understand your riding style when measuring (looking THROUGH or looking OVER) the windshield. They customer service will answer any questions you have. They hooked me up so I had my windshield before the trip to Milwaukee and I couldn't be happier with the investment.

I bought a used bike that had a 10" shield and I didn't like the way it interfered with my line-of-sight, especially on hilly roads. The website said an 8.5" recurve provided similar wind protection. And it does! The line-of-sight is much improved, and even at highway speeds there is minimal buffeting. I also like the way Clearview Shields allows you to try it out as long as you keep the film covering on. A great purchase!

The windshield is just what I wanted.It's just the right height,can see over it with it all the way down,and is clear if I need to look thru it.The only problem was on installation.The holes in the windshield did not line up with the 2 plastic studs on what I'll call the facia.Your 2 holes were too close together.The facia is stock.It came from the factory that way,along with the stock windshield.The holes were only off about 1/8 ",but I could not get the facia on.Instead of tryin to enlarge the hole ,I just broke off 1 of the studs.Other than that problem I'm very satisfied with the w/s. I chose to be able to look over the screen. With the recurve, the wind just barely touches the top of my helmet, exactly how I wanted it. Windscreen provides a nice, quiet "bubble" of still air. Highly recommended!

I was using a stock 10 inch Ultra shield on my Streetglide but had to look thru it, I purchased the Sport 14 inch (I am 5’6”) Clearview recurve sculpted and it is absolutely amazing!! I love that I can see over it and the added shield on the side took a lot of wind off my arms too! Absolutely love this shield and is made really well, thicker than stock but fit’s perfectly.

When you take off the stock shield you will realize exactly how flimsy it is. It's almost as though they make it so cheaply knowing that it's likely to get replaced similar to their seats. The clear view shield is awesome. Mine is about 4 in taller than the stock shield and about an inch wider. It is a superior product in every way and well worth the money it cost. This is the third Clearview shield I've purchased for various bikes over the years.

Bought the largest one for my Valkyrie Interstate. Problem solved regarding wind buffeting. The stock shield was absolutely terrible for buffeting. The 5 inches I trimmed did nothing to solve this issue. I am 6ft tall, 32" inseam. When I removed the stock windshield, the buffeting was completely gone. In my opinion, based on what I tried, the buffeting on this bike is due to the stock shield. I tried a full face and open face helmet to deal with the buffeting, either made any difference. The Clearview came highly rated, and did not disappoint. The vent is a must, which is a option I did get. Only issue, and I as aware before I placed my order, was the wait time.....nearly 7 weeks....shields are reportedly made to order. If you order one, do so over the winter months. Well designed product, easy to install. Highly recommend!

I needed a windshield 1" lower than the stock 2018 Ultra Limited in order to improve my vision. The concern was by lowering the windshield, my wife might experience excess wind buffeting. I ordered the standard 1" shorter shield which didn't increase the buffeting but did increase extra wind on the sides. I checked with Clearview and they suggested the GT model. I returned the first one and within a few days received the replacement. Outstanding! The windshield delivered everything my wife and I were looking for. Thank you Craig for your excellent shield, service and super fast turn-around!

Ordered a medium clear for my '17 Indian Chief Vintage. Very helpful staff, excellent service and the windshield arrived on time very well packed. I look just over the top of the shield with no wind buffering. Line of sight is a big improvement over the stock piece. I rode 900 miles through the mountains of NH and VT a few weekends past and enjoyed my new level of comfort. I highly recommend Clearview Shields.

It looks identical to my old shield, minus the scratches and chemical spill marks. Hoping to mount it this week; need a few more parts from BMW.

I bought the above windshield for my '22 FXLRST, and finally got to go for a decent ride with it. It's a night & day difference compared to the stock shield. The wind noise & buffeting has been drastically reduced, and it's a alot more comfortable ride now. Thanks to Clearview Shields for an awesome product!

I'm very happy I purchased this for my Low Rider ST. Purchased the small which is 2.5" higher than OEM and it makes a world of difference at freeway speeds. From unbearable at 75+MPH after 20 minutes to several hours with no fatigue. The only issue is the fit, along the bottom is doesn't fit flush and sticks out several mm causing a gap. I still recommend, but they should clean the fit up better.

Thank you for your review Ron. We would love to close the gap but due to the varied fitment between the base fairing and the audio upgraded option, the audio upgrade changes the mount location enough that a better fitting screen on the non-audio upgrade became uncomfortably close on the audio upgrade. honestly if you put slight pressure down on the back of the screen you can close the gap a bit more yourself but it will still need some room to avoid screen to fairing conflicts
