We engineer our Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide Windshields and Motorcycle windscreens to exceed your expectations through rigorous testing. During the final stages of product development, we send out samples of our designs to different riders for review and feedback to refine the finished product. These individuals are asked for their body height, inseam, and any existing Bike mods/modifications. This information gives us valuable data when determining best windshield size for each individual rider. This data is available to you to use for comparison for your own body size and riding needs. The name Dyna itself only emerged in 1991, but the origin of the line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles can be traced back almost two decades. The late 1960s brought a peak to the scene of custom motorcycles. 1991 saw the introduction of the FXDB Sturgis, the first official Dyna model on the market. The FXDB was named in honor of the annual bicycle rally in South Dakota that continues to take place today. About 1,500 were produced.
Twenty-seven years after the Dyna was conceived, its time has come to an end. In 2017, Harley-Davidson announced that the line would be over after the 2018 model year. The popular Dyna models, which were still in production at the time, were merged into the newly designed Softail line. In recent years, the Dynas put on a strong show and created motorcycles that many found attractive. That is not to say that the modal went down without a fight.

Was looking for a bigger taller, compact shield for my Dyna. Found a smoke scratch and dent and received an additional $50 off. Was shipped to my house for 135 total. Could not find anything wrong with the shield. Worked great. I would buy from this company again.

I had a stock windscreen and its height created a severe turbulence around my helmet. I went with a 17 inch with a lip. The ride is much smoother, Before it was so turbulent vision was blurred. Now I only get turbulence with my visor on my 3/4 open. Expect a manufacturing lead time, they are built to order.

Purchased this for a 2007 1200C sportster. The factory windshield was not the best set up. Rode in 50 degree weather, really like the kick up on the top edge, also it’s a little wider by 3″. Wish the company made one about 5″ wide. Nice windshield.

I purchased a 12.5″ clear, standard width windshield, with recurve, for my 2003 FXDL Dyna Low Rider, and I am very happy with the shield, in both looks and performance. I wanted the smallest shield possible that would still perform well on this particular bike, and after a couple of test rides and then a 100+ mile ride on a very windy day, I am satisfied that this was the right choice.

I ordered a windshield for my 2003 Sportster but had emailed a question regarding fit and the owner Craig actually called to answer my question. I give Clearview an A+ for service. My windshield came in the time frame given and in perfect condition and I was able to attach it to my original 2003 100th anniversary badged quick release windshield frame with very little effort. I love the fit and finish and give Clearview an A+ for their product. Great service, great product, I will use their products again when needed and recommend Clearview to anyone needing a motorcycle windshield! I can ride my bike comfortably again in January.

When you buy a product online, there is always some uncertainty as to what you will actually get. Rest assured this is a quality product. You will not be disappointed. Production time and shipping are as advertised. It took about 10 business days to build my shield…exactly as promised. I don’t know about you, but it is a good sign when a company is busy and these guys are. My bike is in storage for the winter. So I am reluctant to give a 5 star review, as I do not have much riding time yet, but I am confident that this is an upgrade over my stock Harley shield.

Didnt come with mounting clamps or hardware. Which is fine, their prerogative.
But. They solicited my email asking for a review and since I’ve been working hard and staying busy enough to pay off my purchase of their product …
Thats pretty much how this goes:
Wish this aftermarket product would have come with actual mounting hardware so you can use their product out the box. Now I’m procrastinating going to the stealership for more reasons than PTSD. Now I have to go there to buy an OEM part for an Aftermarket part.
Again, their prerogative. This is the way my mind works and I look at things and how they can be improved. Take it or leave it.

Sorry for the misunderstanding in regards to the Hardware. We do try to make it as evident as possible that we only supply the screen portion on the product page. We can take the screen back if you cannot find the mounts and framework.

I bought a tall replacement windscreen for the short one from H-D on my ‘13 Sportster 1200 XL Custom. I left the frame clamped onto the fork and unscrewed the existing windscreen and then replaced it with the new tall one from Clearview. On the existing frame still on the cycle. The holes were correct and it mounted perfectly. All I had to do was be careful I replaced each brace and screw and nut in the same locations. It worked. Took about a hour as I went slowly and carefully having never done this before.

Good build quality but didn’t fix the issues of buffering. Tried what was recommended by clearview but didn’t work out. Gave it 2 stars because they are better than the stock Harley windshield
