Great product!! Cuts wind buffeting by probably 85% compared to without. I’m 5’10” with 21” OEM windshield on my Scout. Would rattle my brain without the lowers. Added stability to the bars also when cruising down the highway. Easy to install. Only disappointment was I had to reach out to customer service as there was no instructions or information for installation. Curtis in customer service sent pics and info right away. Kudos to him for speed of reply. Close to 400 miles on these already and truly enjoy them.

I LOVE the windshield. It is beautiful. I didn't even realize how bad the old one was until the new one arrived. Only issue was hardware. The windshield was slightly thicker as advertised. This caused my original hardware to be incompatible. Notihng a trip to the hardware store and a few dollars couldn't fix. Now I'm back on the road and I can SEE!

I received my Clearview Shield, yesterday for my 2020 Honda Goldwing.
I had previously ordered and installed a Klockwerks flare windshield due to the fact that Clearview didn’t have the new Goldwing model listed as being available for the 2018 or newer model on their website.
I was OK with the Klockwerks as it was much better at reducing the wind noise and increasing the comfort of the cockpit for the driver than was the stock Honda OEM shield.
However, I was not really thrilled with it overall. One of the things I noticed right away was the Klockwerks was thinner than the previous Clearview shields I had installed.
Also, it was pretty distorted when I was looking through it due to the curvature and it also had a rainbow effect when wearing polarized lens sunglasses in the daylight. It does not have this rainbow effect when it is cloudy, just on nice sunny days.

I contacted Klockwerks and they said that rainbow effect was normal due to the coating process they use. The Klockwerks flare has a pretty extreme curve at the top and outer edges of the screen. Between the curvature, (flare) and the rainbow effect it was not pleasant to look through the shield. It seemed like I was continually moving my head or raising and lowering the screen trying to get my head in a spot where the view was clear. (No pun intended).
My bike has an adjustable windscreen and it moves about 4 inches up and down. When it was down, I was still catching quite a bit of wind and when it was up I was looking through the upper portion of the screen. Just below the top there was some distortion and a lot of rainbowing making it pretty stressful looking through it.
My next issue was when I was carrying a passenger, (primarily my wife), her head was getting buffeted severely with the Klockwerks. She wears a full face helmet. After moving the screen up and down trying numerous positions, she was not having a good ride and she was ready to go back to the house. Sadly we ended our ride early.

In the meantime, over the weekend I had left an email message on Clearviews website asking about a screen for the newer model of Goldwing to see if they would make a screen for the new Goldwing. They replied and they said they did have the new model Goldwing screen available, it just wasn’t listed on the website as it was new. Craig was very accommodating making sure I was getting the right screen. I ordered the large clear model and received it in just a few days. I received it and installed it in 3 minutes. The install was the same for both Klockwerks and Clearview, very, very simple. In fact, it is the most simple thing I have done mechanically in as far back as I can remember, It is about the same as putting a new switch plate on an electrical socket, there are only four Allen bolts to remove and reinstall.
After the install we went for our first ride with the Clearview screen and immediately I noticed the CLEARNESS of the material. Zero distortion, zero rainbow effect. It was thicker, heavier material. I had a Clearview on my previous bike. I am not sure about the process used to give it its resiliency but I do know this, I took a rock about the size of a quarter off a passing dump truck going about 70 miles an hour. It hit my Clearview windscreen right at head height. I was waiting for and expecting something horrible to happen but nothing did. It hit my screen, sounded like a bullet hitting it. It left a permanent tiny little white mark on the screen like a small bug had hit it. That was it.

My new Clearview screen for my Goldwing looks to be the same high quality material. It is perfectly clear, it has no rainbow effect at all when wearing polarized lenses in the sun. My area behind the screen was quiet and calm, no buffeting my wife’s head around.

She loves it, I love it! I have had several different bikes. None of the stock shields are worth what they charge for them. I really don’t know why motorcycle manufacturers put lousy windscreens on bikes? I can only reason they want to maximize the MPG vs comfort and safety of the rider and passenger, which to me, is what the whole motorcycle experience is about. Comfort, safety and exhilaration. Whatever the reason, there will always be a market for after market windscreens. As far as I am concerned Clearview is the CLEAR choice. They are clearer, heavy duty, no rainbow effect, max comfort windscreen. Different screens and different helmets produce different results for different size of riders and passengers. For us? Clearview is the clear choice.

I think that I love it as much as I love the other two screens I have from Clearview.
That's right. I own three.
They are quality made, priced right.
Depending on my planned ride, I have options on not only the look but how much ventilation I want or need.
Worked with the staff and it was easy as butter.

Thanks for all your help with my order. I received and installed the new shield and it installed very easily. Between the new Clearview shield and some fork baffles, I would say 95% of my buffeting is gone. The disturbed airflow is now above my helmet so mission accomplished. The only thing I noticed at first is a little more side-to-side buffeting of the bike itself in the wind or behind a truck, which makes sense with a larger surface area up front. I'm a happy customer.
Oh, and I'm glad I got the vent. It will be nice in summer around here.

Easy installation and makes a huge difference on my 2016 Vaquero. The taller shield takes away all the wind but with the vent i can allow some air through, which will be huge once the warm summer weather arrives. Best accessory i have added to the bike.

I would just like to thank your company. I called a couple weeks before Christmas trying to get a new windshield for my husbands indian chief. The guy on the phone was super nice and helpful as well as patient while I took the measurements. He even put a rush on the order and I got it before Christmas! My husband just got it on his bike( we had to order a new bracket) and at first he thought it would be too short and the wind would hit him in the face, but after riding he absolutely loves the new windshield and says its perfect! The recurve sends the wind over his head and its actually better quality than the factory windshield from Indian! Thank you guys for your awesome product and excellent customer service!

Attached is a picture of my '77 BMW R100S with the new windshield. Please tell your staff of fabricators that I am thoroughly pleased with the fit and finish of the shield. I have been wrenching on antique vehicles since I was a teenager. I fully expected to have to "fit" the shield to the bike. Not the case here. I am a retired machinist/fabricator. I know a quality product when I see one.

The dark shield on my 2018 Springfield was too dark. I ordered the clear shield and it was shipped securely and fit perfectly with the stock hardware. Very satisfied with the quality of the product and the company!

I should have bought one of these the week I bought the bike. It works perfectly. Road noise from buffeting wind is almost nonexistent now. I can turn my radio down so I’m not blasting the next county over with loud music and my ears are thankful. Fit up was spot on and installation took less than 5 minutes.

Ordered w/s for 2003 HD Dyna Super Glide. Wrong w/s supplied. Company made it right without hesitation. Very pleased and satisfied with the service. New w/s is thicker and better quality than original.

Very pleased with the product. Shape/size/hole placement were a perfect fit to my mounting hardware. Crystal clear shield as promised. Love the RainX compatibility.

I have not had a chance to install the product, but, side by side comparison looks good. Might be a bit sorter than the original. Hopefully I’ll get the bike back from having a new carburetor and intake manifold installed.

Great fit. You may want a helper to attach the frame to the shield because it gets a little tricky trying to do everything with just 2 hands and keep the locktite off the shield. Take your time so you don't scratch it. The 19.5 " was just right for me at 5'10" on my 2005 Road King Custom, I sit a little high in the saddle because of my Air Hawk 2 seat cushion, which is another Great Product! I can see over the top of the windshield just right, and the recurve throws the air well over the top of my head. I like the wind protection the extra wide option gives me. Thicker and stronger than the OEM. This is my second shield from Clearview Shields, a different bike, and I could not be more pleased with them or the product. Grady

Good build quality but didn't fix the issues of buffering. Tried what was recommended by clearview but didn't work out. Gave it 2 stars because they are better than the stock Harley windshield

Project on this bike took a little longer than I thought it would, however I finally got everything buttoned up and was able to put about 100 miles on yesterday. Could not be happier with the protection this windshield offers! It gives air without being blasted. Temperatures were in the high 50s to low 60s and this windshield provided enough protection to keep me comfortable. Thank you again for a great product!

Just received my windshield and installed it.
All I can say is Wow! U guys knocked it outta the park. The quality of the material you used is unbelievable! Compared to the stock windscreen the RWD fairing came with. Literally 2 1/2 times as thick. Then the vent! Fageddaboutit! Completely blown away by this windshield. Thank you so much. I give my new Clearview Shield 5 stars and more. I added 2 inches to the height and 4 inches in width. Now I can sit and view the road ahead through windshield. The product is all of what I was hoping for.

I just installed it here in RI and tested at 100mph and 37 degrees F. I must say an incredible difference from stock! So clear, no buffeting and great fit and finish. Thanks guys. My cold weather riding just got a lot warmer!

This is my second windshield from Clearview, and have nothing but good to say. They ship the finished windshield in a timely manner, and the packing is amazing. Excellent quality. Fitment was perfect, no modifications needed as it was the same exact as oem. The time to make it and have it shipped was spot on with what the company figured. Made a great gift for my father and so much nicer than his old scratched shield. Would definitely recommend this company and their products to anyone.

I just got off of a 2 hour ride. Bike rides smoother a d quieter. Love being able to comfortably look over the top of shield at highway speeds and not getting knocked around. Vent is a must you can adjust it to get just the pressure you want on the back of it.

I ordered the Super Sport recurve with a light gray. Even though it was 1 inch longer in measurement than what was stated, it wasn't enough to be in my line of sight. The clarity through the windshield was unbelievable. There is no distortion whatsoever. I showed it to a friend and he was amazed. He was also shocked at the price. I highly recommend this product.

Craig, I receive my Clearview windshield, about five days ago. I finally have a chance to take it for a ride. I love it, it’s quieter behind it, it’s smooths the air out around me. And I love the way it looks on the bike. The light tint was well worth waiting for.

excellent product; I purchased with a light grey tint. Night driving was excellent for knocking the 'blue light' glare out, made for a very comfortable 150 mile ride. The screen is higher than my line of sight providing a calmer quieter ride.... look forward to some very long comfortable rides

Was told it might not fit my 2001 Royalstar Tour Deluxe,since they advertise only up to a 1998,but as you can see it fits,they need to change there description to include 2001 Royalstar Tour Deluxe.

I purchased a Clearview Shields WindScreen for my scooter several months ago and I finally got around to Installing it. I am very Impressed with the Ease of Installation with the New Hardware that comes with the new WindScreen. The Quality of the Actual WindScreen is VERY GOOD as well!!! It was well worth the time and money. I shopped around and Clearview Shields was the only WindScreen I could find this Tall and with an Air Vent. If ANYONE is looking to Purchase a WindScreen I Very Strongly Recommend CLEARVIEW SHIELDS!!! You will NOT be disappointed!...

Purchased vented shield in 2017...36000 miles later still a great investment..high quality. My bike is rode hard and put up wet, daily rider so usually doesn't end up covered much..shield shows almost 0 fade and vent is adjusted multiple times daily due to the cool damp texas mornings and hot afternoons but still adjusts and clicks between positions as good as new! You won't find a better windscreen. I am 6'6" and I have the large on my vaquero, protection is perfect and 0 buffeting with a helmet..but on a foggy morning or in rain its almost too tall even at my height there are some visibility issues...
So something to consider if you ride in all conditions. 10/10 made my vaquero the way it should've been all along!

I installed and road tested the lowers today, and submitted a review to your website. The quality of the lowers is excellent.....they look good and are a perfect fit. I am very pleased with their performance. It was very windy today, perfect to test them out. Helmet buffeting was pretty much eliminated....no more vibration of visor, and a quieter ride now behind my stock windshield. I rode at speed into a headwind, with tailwinds, and with strong side winds. In all cases, the front end of the bike felt more stable, and seemed in better contact with the road. As you know the front end of the scout can feel like it's really being moved around in heavy wind . With the fork lowers, I felt more relaxed.....and less effort was necessary to keep on track. A good looking improvement to both buffeting and stability. Thanks again for the pictures.....they clarified positioning perfectly.

I just installed the extra large windshield with the vent. It works great!! No helmet buffeting with the vent open 1 click!! This is the windshield I can go out to the badlands with!! No optical distortion at all. I'm very happy.

My new Clearview shield arrived Wednesday and I had it mounted later that afternoon. Just after I got my 2019 Scout I decided to go the batwing fairing route and $600.00 later had something that almost worked. Aerodynamics were that of a barn door once I had all the wind deflectors that go with it. After riding my brothers Scout with the screen and lowers, I decided to go the same way. The Scout is a simple and fun bike and with your help it’s back to that. After a very pleasant two hour ride on Michigan backroads I couldn’t believe what a great ride it was. Gone was the helmet buffeting and most of the wind noise. I will look forward to getting out and about on my Scout even more. Thanks Clearview for a great product.
