These Shields are Designed to Mount to the OEM Kawasaki Brackets. Clearview Shields are designed as “replacement” windshields. We do not offer any brackets/braces/framing or any other hardware.

- 2″ added width for increased protection for your arms and shoulders (available only on 21″L and 23″L)

During the final stages of product development, we send out samples of our design to different riders for review and feedback to refine the finished product. These individuals are asked for their body height, inseam and Bike mods which gives us valuable data when determining Best windshield size for riders. The new Clear view windshield looked and fit the same as the old one. Only difference is I can see past the new one!

I was not sure what to expect when I ordered the oversized model for my bike. It is amazing the difference a little larger shield, and the recurve at the top, can change a ride from night to day! The wind noise is gone! The resistance against my helmet is gone! For a 6’6” rider, this shield changed my ride for the better!

My 1999 Nomad was in desperate need of a new windshield. I ordered a new one and it’s better than when the bike was new. The windshield material is thicker, the view is so clear is like there is not a windshield there, and the it fit perfectly. I highly recommend Clearview Shields.

When I first opened the box, I had thought I made a mistake and ordered my 1500 Nomad shield too big (2″ wider x 1″ taller than OEM with recurve) it looked huge compared to the existing. I thought – nothing ventured, nothing gained so I put it on. Holes lined up perfect on existing hardware, no issues. What a joy, I use mine as a daily commuter as well as a weekend warrior year-round and on those 40 deg. mornings it has made the freeway commute a breeze. No distortions, minimal head buffeting. I ordered a stock height, stock width, clear replacement shield for a 2004 Vulcan Nomad 1500 Fi. It is PERFECT. The fit is exact; the finish is superb. It is slightly thicker than the original shield, so it flexes less — which I like. I am completely satisfied with this shield. And, at $149 + $25 shipping, it is WAY less expensive than the $700 OEM replacement shield from the Kawasaki dealer.

My windshield came well wrapped and in excellent shape. The shims make it a little hard to install but they are a great idea, I just wish they would have sent a couple extra as I either lost one or was missing one. Also I didn’t realize what the vent meant so didn’t order one now I am sorry I didn’t as I had to use the old one as a shim. Otherwise it is a great product that I highly recommend.

Here are a couple of shots of my 2001 Kawasaki Nomad with the new windshield (standard replacement). I opted to get the stock height shield. Your product quality is superb and a definite improvement over the OE shield that came on the bike. The optics are outstanding and “I can see clearly now.”

Here’s a few pictures of my ’99 Vulcan Nomad with the new Clearview replacement windshield. After removing two factory windshields because of fatigue cracks, I switched to a Clearview. The new windshield is thicker and more stout than the original equipment windshields, and should eliminate the fatigue crack problems. Thanks for providing a good alternative to factory replacements!
