Perfect Fit. Excellent product.

Very sturdy construction. Thicker than the stock BMW S screen. Very satisfied.

The windscreen for my R100S was packaged and shipped very securely. I was very impressed once the windscreen was attached to the fairing. I opted for the smoke grey shield to go with the bike’s red metallic paint. It looks so good!
Thanks.

Ordered a R90S windscreen. Very High quality windscreen at a reasonable price. Packaging was A1. Will purchase again. Thanks Bill

I ordered the standard height medium dark windscreen for my BMW S fairing. I was replacing a stock BMW windscreen, so I was able to make direct comparisons. The good news is the Clearview screen is well made, with little distortion and a good fit if you use the stock BMW fasteners (I couldn’t get the Clearview-supplied washers to work). The less good news is the Clearview screen has a smaller-than-stock ‘lip’ below the mounting holes, so BMW’s rubber O ring material can’t be used to cushion the screen from the fairing. I suspect this will cause fairing wear over time from vibration.
The additional news is that Clearview doesn’t seem to read the comments field on the online order form. At least they didn’t read mine because I had to separately request special shipping instructions.

Looks great installed on the 74 BMW R90S. Fit was good, easy install. I did not have the original shield but I have seen pictures and it looks correct. Nice job. Would buy again if the need arises.

I love the dark grey tint, the clarity, and the finish. But the drilling was off for my stock 1977 BMW R100S fairing. I ended up ditching the supplied shouldered washers and doing a little judicious filing of several mounting holes. After this, it mounted fine with the supplied bolts and some flat plastic washers I sourced elsewhere. I discussed my experience with someone in the production department, so this difficulty may end up being corrected in future screens shipped for the R90S/R100S stock BMW cafe fairing.

Firstly, Clearview had the respect to notify me that there would be a small delay with delivery date. You showed that yr company values its customers. Thank you for that. The product arrived with no damage and in a timely manner . The product itself fit perfectly with no fuss, onto my 1987 R80. I found the quality to be exceptional and pleasantly surprised at how robust the material is. I tried it out right away and I’m happy with my choice. Wind noise is down and no more ‘buffeting’ that resulted from the original windscreen. All in all I’m very pleased and would recommend Clearview to anyone.

Attached is a picture of my ’77 BMW R100S with the new windshield. Please tell your staff of fabricators that I am thoroughly pleased with the fit and finish of the shield. I have been wrenching on antique vehicles since I was a teenager. I fully expected to have to “fit” the shield to the bike. Not the case here. I am a retired machinist/fabricator. I know a quality product when I see one.
Thanks,
Wayne
