Fire ,fits flush and clean, heavy thick solid shield recommend this for wind and the elements if you have FXR or want the police style wind shield
Good improvement over the stock shield. Wind still buffs your head a little bit at 65-70 but it isn't bad. 2014 HD Street Glide.

I'm happy with this replacement windshield and I rate it an 11 out of 10. The quality of materials, finish, and service is high. I purchased the clear 17" with recurve and vent. I would recommend to anyone that is riding on the highway to buy big and get the vent. I don't know if the recurve makes much difference, there is a little optical distortion at the bend. It isn't noticeable after initial view. IMHO all the work to measure out looking over the windshield is overrated. I'm looking through the windshield and now I clean the bugs off the windshield and not my helmet visor. In fact, now I'm able to ride with my visor up and the vent open, so I get a little cooling wind in my face. Before, I had to ride with my visor down or the wind buffeting was shaking my fillings loose. The trade off of looking through the windshield and not a helmet visor is a good one if the windshield is clear. As for tint, I like the clear view and I use my sunglasses and helmet sun visor to adjust for sunlight. A tinted windshield to me is an unadjustable feature, which like a broken clock, is right only one time of day. I don't drive with sunglasses when the sun goes down, so a tinted windshield isn't helpful when I need visibility and I need others to see me. Thank you Clearview Shields. I'm happy with my purchase and your product.

I found the Clearview site looking for aftermarket replacement windshield for my Ultra limited. I debated on ordering a 4 inch or 6.5 inch windshield so I ordered both. I mounted each shield and rode around the block a few time to check the top of the windshield in my line of sign and both were out of my line of sight. I kept the 4" shield on for a weekend trip and was very please with the recurve flowing the air just over the top of my helmet, (I'm 5' 10") and the short shield worked very well. We rode thru some heavy rain (read monsoon type rain) and the shorter shield preformed well. Next trip going with the 6.5" shield which I expect will perform equally as well and offer a little more rain protection.
Both shields are excellent in quality and optical clarity: no distortion whatsoever looking thru shield compared to not looking thru the shield.
Very happy with Clearview and w recommend to all looking fa new windshield.

Took about a month but I was aware of this when ordering as it was during the covid-19 crisis. Finally received and it’s awesome, I got light gray instead of clear, which I originally ordered, but since clear was hard to come by again due to covid-19, they reached out to make sure I’d be happy with the switch. Glad I did, i went with a recurve gt width, 18″ height and no vent for my 2019 Harley heritage classic. I’m 5’9″ with about a 31″ inseam. Fits me well, takes quite a bit more air away from my body, top of my helmet just catches the wind but only way to truly stop that is to go so tall I look through it, but not what I was looking for. I love it very high quality very well shipped and made. Thanks guys!

I'm a tall fella, and the head buffeting I was getting from the stock windshield was sucking the joy right out of riding. I had switched over to a police saddle and this raised my noggin straight up into some pretty turbulent air. I know a shield over 20" looks kind of awkward, but man oh man, I can comfortably ride in the saddle all day long without excessive fatigue. No regrets here, a solid purchase.

After a week or two they emailed again and stated the clear plastic (my choice) was in heavy demand and further days were possible. They suggested that I go with a light grey (free upgrade) to keep my order on schedule. I did just that. It arrived and I couldn't be happier. They're communication and customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend over all competitors.

I went about 1”-1 1/2” below my eye level rather than the recommended 2” but I still can see well just over the screen. Nice product.

Needed taller wind screen for my ‘19 Heritage Softail. The stock screen was 18”, I’m 6’1”. I liked the blacked out lower portion of the stock screen, but was not an option from HD’s catalog. I found Clearview online and they could do the blacked out lower bout so I could keep the look of the factory screen. They made me a 21” screen, shipped it safely in a very short time. Easily installed with the included instructions. Beautiful. I did find that 21” was a bit too tall. I found on YouTube a very helpful video on trimming windscreens. I took off 1” and perfection!

Took a little while to get the windshield because they had to actually manufacture it, but when I got it, it was perfect. Matched the factory windshield 100%, mounting holes and all. With the correct size on my clearview, when I need to look through the shield, I have not noticed any distortion.. For less than half the price!!

I'm 6'5" and head buffing was a problem. Now with a 24" with a recurve its just what I needed to correct the problem. The bonus is that it is DOT certified, higher density and just a touch thicker to keep its form better and still looks stock.
Prefect fit from the start, E-Z to install, it came boxed and shipped properly.
Personal service on the phone and took care of my questions.
I highly recommend Clearview Shields.

It takes 2 or 3 weeks, but they make precisely what you ordered, perfectly. Completely symmetrical left to right, no weird warp anywhere in the screen, excellent optical clarity throughout the entire screen, even though I look over mine 99% of the time.

I purchased a 21 inch GT width windshield for my 2018 Road King. Took about 3 weeks to receive it. Quality of the windshield is excellent and fits me perfectly (I'm 6'6" and needed a taller windshield). Not the cheapest but good quality.

Recently purchased the 6.5” “Sport” for my wife’s ’19 Street Glide. Very happy with this purchase. I’ve owned windshields from two other popular competitors and I believe this one is the best quality. The windshield is not too thick like others that create a gap at each end after installation and there’s no ugly manufacturer’s emblem stuck on the front of it. The Clearview Shields logo with shield and wings is lightly etched into the surface on one end and actually looks rather nice. What I liked most is the way it was packaged. I’ve had competitors ship theirs in a bag believe it or not – this one was shipped in a cardboard box with plenty of foam packing material. It was also wrapped nicely with protective film in such a way to allow me to accurately test ride it before accepting. I’ve had others wrapped in so much film it was impossible to test. The fit and finish is perfect – I will most definitely recommend Clearview Shields over all others.

On June 29 we began a 2,400 mile ten day tour of the New England states where we had a "Clearview" of the country side. To you and the team at "Clearview Shields" I extend a THANK YOU for an excellent product. As a followup I now have over 4,00 miles on the windshield and it still looks like new. The shield blocks the wind and bugs but allows enough air circulation for a pleasurable ride. Your windshield is 2X the thickness of my stock shield. I ordered the 'looking through' height with extra width and the windshield was an exact fit with under 1/2 hour for installation. My only regret is that I didn't order it sooner. I have attached a couple of pictures to show what a compliment the windshield is to the bike. Thanks again for supplying a quality product and exceptional customer service.

The shield performs as advertised.I am very pleased with every aspect of the transaction from talking to you personally to riding behind the product that works as promised. The head buffeting that I was getting from the stock Road Glide shield is a non issue now. I get just enough air movement to keep things comfortable and my riding experience that much more enjoyable.

I did have the vent added to my order and would say I would not do that if I ordered a new one. It sets high on the shield and blocks your vision. They did call me before shipping and said there was a blemish on the shield and if I wanted they could remake it or ship with the blemish. I had them ship it and the area is very small. I will keep the shield. I would have liked to know if the shield needed to be sealed before using but only instructions on how to clean it? High quality windshield and great communication from Clearshield.

I spent more than enough time researching replacement shields for the stock 20” that came on my 2017 RK. Eventually I settled on Clearview and could not be happier with the 17.5” with recurve and extra width. Wind buffeting is diminished and the extra width keeps wind off hands which helps on cool morning commutes. The 17.5” allows me to look over the top whether solo or two up. My riding experience is much improved. Thanks Clearview!

I can easily sit comfortably without any wind buffeting and still see over the shield. When I was buying the windshield, the experience with the staff was great, all my questions were answered. Excellent product, excellent service. I have friends who are looking to replace windshields, Clearview will be my recommendation to them.

I am 6'3, 235 lbs and when I installed a "tallboy" seat the stock 21" windshield was letting the wind beat my head if I went above 55 mph. Works as described and discussed beforehand. Love the vent that was suggested. Wouldn't ride now without it. Got an email on scheduled production and when it was shipped. Arrived in perfect condition as scheduled. In fact I think they could have included an egg and it would have been whole, too! Easy installation on existing brackets. Highly recommend Clearview--excellent quality product and service.

I just wanted to say thanks. I got my new windshield about a month ago and haven't had a chance to install it but I did yesterday. It was relatively easy and had to make a few adjustments, but I have learned with these motorcycles that nothing goes as planned. The quality is the best I've seen and I've been riding motorcycles for 40 years. You guys were patient with me in explaining how to choose the right size and helping me make the decision, and it came out perfect. BTW, you shipped it like it was a priceless painting, and every precaution was taken to prevent damage.

I am 6'1" tall with a 32" inseam. Windshield is perfect height when sitting on my Airhawk cushion. What I love most about the shield is practically no wind in my face or buffeting of my helmet. Also wind noise is basically nil when you are running out front of cars or trucks. I demoed a couple of shields and this was the best performing one for what I was looking for such as wind in the face and buffeting. Looks great as well. May not have the curves but for me it works better.

I purchased my Clearview windshield for my 2017 Pro St. breakout CVO on April 12, 2017. The stock windshield,in fact the only one made for the breakout, is absolutely garbage. The windshield does not work as a windshield but as a funnel of air directly into your face even at 20 and 30 mile an hour. You are better without the windshield. The windshield made by Clearview is absolutely wonderful. It has the recurve which shoots the wind over the rider and looks perfect on this bike. This bike has a great look to it and this windshield only exemplifies that look.

I just rolled the odometer past 5,000 miles with the Clearview Recurve with the extra 5 inch width on my 2016 Ultra Limited. This is my third windscreen, and I wished I would have found it earlier. It is amazing. No comparison to other brands. It puts the wind (bugs/leaves/etc) over my head; yet, I look over the top of the windscreen.

Many thanks to the folks at Clearview Shields for providing a very high quality product that fits my bike perfectly! Even though I ordered the wrong model for my bike initially, (my fault!), the staff at Clearview went out of their way to ensure that my replacement was correct. Knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with, I could not be more pleased with the results of working with Clearview Shields. Now I can enjoy road trips with my V-Rod Muscle during cold weather in style and comfort. Not only does my Clearview Shield offer much greater wind protection than the HD offering, but the cost was much more reasonable than our friends in Milwaukee. Several different heights are available, and I chose the 21 inch height which allows me a clear view over the top, but with the unique design of the top edge of the shield, the wind is directed right over my head……perfect!

I am extremely happy with it and tell everyone about your products. I recently rode from Fort Lauderdale to Syracuse, NY. In spite of the two long days in the saddle each way, I never had any buffeting or neck fatigue.

I put the new shield on as soon as it was delivered, after checking for defects and proper fit I removed the clear plastic protective material.

WOW - such an improvement!!!! I recently bought a '16 Street Glide Special and wasn't very impressed with the stock windshield on the highway - I felt I was getting way too much head buffeting and looked to get a taller windshield. I received my Medium height smoked windshield with the re-curve this morning and immediately put on the bike and took a test ride. Virtually all the buffeting is gone; this is what I hoped for from a stock windshield but didn't get. Customer service was great. HIGHLY Recommended!!!

Finally got the Free out for a spin with the new Clearview windshield. First observation is a lot less flexing at highway speed than the HD windshield. The vent works well. Less turbulence coming up from the tank at highway speed, but it is still there and above 70mph it still shakes my helmet. I still have my soft lowers on so I need warmer weather to see if they add to the problem. The recurve at the top of the windshield definitely works.

Received my new windshield yesterday! I installed it this morning and took a 100 mile ride to test it out. First, I can now hear the radio without turning it up all the way! It also does a great job cutting the wind. The wind now flows over my head like it should! The workmanship and quality of the windshield is SUPERB! This is my second windshield purchased from Clearview and they are a quality product! I highly recommend them to anyone who rides a Harley or other bike! Yesterday I went on a 300+ mile ride behind my Medium height, scalloped, lightly tinted Clearview windscreen. My ride took me on about 100 miles of high speed, freeway/highway roads where I was able to cruise above 90. The rest of the ride was on two lane twisties. For those familiar, 11 miles were on the Tail of the Dragon. Through all of the different speeds and riding types, the windscreen worked perfectly! The additional recurve allowed me to ride in a very quiet (for a Road Glide FLTRX) cocoon of air. I was able to smoke a cigar while riding the Dragon and beyond. After demoing multiple screens, this is the one that will stay on my bike and the only one I will recommend.

Could not be more pleased. 2011 Road Glide Ultra. 5 feet 7 inches tall. Tried multiple windshield heights and styles before. Stuck with stock windshield as it provided the best coverage for me. Still bothered by buffeting, noise, and wind at eye level. After incredibly helpful phone conversation with Clearview, ordered GT Medium wiith Recurve and vent, light grey tint. Installed myself with recommended Youtube tutorial. Even with the reportedly tricky Harley trim kit, installation was perfect, which I can't say about all of my mechanical projects. Looks great. Just returned from 1000 mile trip over a variety of roads and conditions. I took the face shield off my 3/4 helmet, as I was comfortable in the "bubble" with only my sunglasses on. Much quiter. Temperature changes managed by changing vent settings. Wish I found this product a long time ago!!!

The new windshield arrived. As I am sure you know It worked great. I am extremely happy with it. It works better than I ever imagined. Thank you and your technicians for there outstanding product. I am sending pictures of the old and the much better new one. I just got back from a 986 mile run to the Texas Hill Country and the wild flowers were in full bloom. I added two of those for the heck of it. Hope you enjoy. Once again thank you, its great and I will tell all my fellow riders to check Clearview first.

I received and installed my new shield today and wanted to let you know how pleased I am with it. I got the 2.5 shorter clear (with recurve) model for my 06 Road King Classic. Very easy to install, really like the extra rigidity so it doesn’t shake at idle like the stock unit, and I’ve found that at highway speeds, the main air stream runs about 4-5 inches above my head, while leaving plenty of vision space over the top of the shield, about nose level.

The shield performs as advertised.I am very pleased with every aspect of the transaction from talking to you personally to riding behind the product that works as promised. The head buffeting that I was getting from the stock Road Glide shield is a non issue now. I get just enough air movement to keep things comfortable and my riding experience that much more enjoyable.

I've been riding with my new Clearview shield for a month or so now and I must say that I am very impressed. I got the stock height and the wind is noticably less than the stock H-D shield and the clarity is terrific. Did I mention that the annoying "bubbling" sound has disappeared? My only regret is that I didn't order one when I bought the bike new 2 years ago. You boys are making a great product. Keep up the good work. I'm writing this e-mail to inform you that today my wife and I test rode our new Harley Road Glide with our new Clearview windshield installed. The turbulence and buffeting problem that existed before your windshield does not exist now. Your company and product took what started out to be a riding nightmare and turned it into a riding dream. The difference your windshield has made on the riding quality on our bike is unbelievable. My wife and I can actually talk to each other in a normal voice at 55 to 60 mph.

Here are a few pics of my 2006 HD Road Glide with the new clearview windshield. It is 3 inchs taller than stock. I rode it for the first time today in 40 degree weather. Very little air got past the shield, it will be very nice when it gets warmer. I was able to turn down the stero and listen to it without all the wind noise in my ears. I can hear my Screaming Eagle pipes much better too.

I've had a Clearview Shield before so I knew I could count on you for a quality product. The difference between the stock screen and my Clearview is amazing. Instead of getting beat up and HAVING to wear goggles every time I ride, I now cruise around comfortably in sunglasses @ 70mph.

I recently purchased a Clearview GT 13 Dark Tint and installed it on my black 2013 HD Road Glide. It replaced the HD Windsplitter that I had installed on it the day it was delivered. The HD Windsplitter was only doing a fair job of cutting the wind noise and I was getting wind in my eyes and helmet where there was no coverage.
