If you find your fit isn’t quite right—or you’re not entirely satisfied—you have 30 days from the ship date to return or exchange your windshield as long as the protective film remains intact and the shield is like-new. (minus the shipping and handling charge)

Our windshield thickness ranges from .157″ to .236″ with a common thickness of .177″, compared to a standard stock Harley-Davidson windshield that measures .097″ to .197″ with a common thickness of .129″. The other important factor was selecting the correct side. On my 2025 Road Glide, the method of measuring up from the vent made a lot of sense.
I have now run the windshield for over 1,000mi and it has met all expectations: solid, good looking and I can hear the stock stereo.
Lastly, I had called them several times prior to the purchase, as well as afterwards, and they responded every time within the same day.

I have a 2013 Switchback and put a Saddlemen Explorer LS seat on it. With the stock shield, the buffeting was a problem on the highway. I'm 5'8 with a 30 inch inseam and got a 17.5 inch Clearview shield, with recurve, which is about the upper limit of where I want to be with the height. I can still see over the shield. Initial impressions on the highway are favorable -- much less buffeting, even with my 3/4 helmet and bubble visor. It feels safer, which is what I was going for. Moving the brackets from the old shield was not my favorite thing to do, but I got it done. I'm not sure the vent is helpful in this particular case, but I kind of like having the option.

The curvature of the shield is more broad compared to others I have tried and I think provides a better wind pocket as well. I have the sport size I’m 5’11 and the wind hits just above my forehead.

I could not find any defects. Believe me I looked. No scratches, no fish eyes, no smudges, no inclusions. They must have sent me a non clearance windshield by mistake. No, just kidding. I have an upgraded seat, adding a little height. I ordered a 19" windshield with the added re-curve and +2.5 width. I changed my order by removing the +2.5. I wish I had ordered a 20" with +2.5 width and re-curve. I am happy with the shield I ordered but if I could to do again I would have made the upgrades I mentioned.

I looked everywhere for a taller windshield to help keep window out of my face. This was the very tallest one I could find on the market. As a 6’4” rider this is now absolutely perfect. It’s a bit wider than the stock windshield as well and so it creates a great riding environment.

They worked with me to assure the new windscreen would fit. Everything fit perfectly. I was expecting pretty high-quality. I was very happy to find it exceeded my expectations. The only thing better than their product is their customer service. Fantastic people, fantastic business, and a fantastic windshield.

I'm about 5'7" currently on a stock seat of a 2024 Road Glide, and the medium recurve shield puts the airflow about an inch above my head and just past my handlebar controls, yet I can still comfortably see over the top.

The dark grey LDT Sculpted Sport model is the perfect size to deflect the wind over my helmet. I am 5'7" and I am able to see over it, but can still look through it without the distortion I get with other recurved brands. The added 5" shoulder width reduces the wind noise around my ears compared to the stock deflector on my '22 HD Street Glide Special.

I received my order in 22 days from date of purchase. There were no imperfections in the shield . All mounting holes lined up with my stock brackets. Overall, it looks great and worth the cost. I would recommend!

I am a first time purchaser of the Clearview Shield for my Road King. I put 2116 miles on my bike with this windshield on a road trip. I got an 18.5 inch windshield. It is NOT Clearview Shields issue at all. But after riding for multiple days, I think if I had to do this again I would get a 16.5" windshield. While the windshield is workable for now. But I do plan on saving my money and ordering a shorter windshield before too long. What I like most about the windshield is how stiff it is.

I've been using Clearview Shields over 10 years. Currently I have a 2024 Roadglide and with the new shield, the ride is amazing. I have large size, the air pocket at 80 mph is amazingly nice. The air pocket at high speed is possibly better than low speed.

I’m 5’10, the height worked out perfect that I still look over the shield by a few inches, but takes the wind off of me. Plus, the extra width in the shield really makes it flow with the lines of the fairing, great windshield!

Absolutely hands down best shield for this bike. The added 1.5 inches to the sides was a much larger help with wind than I thought it would be. I went with a large size after watching many reviews for my height, and riding position. I do not think another company can hold a match to this. Color options will be the only thing this company doesn't have at this time in comparison to others. I am very impressed with this shield.

I had a ride scheduled and an order placed for a replacement shield for my motorcycle. Found that lead time exceeded my trip plans… I emailed Clearview and explained how I needed the shield sooner. I had the OEM Harley-Davidson detachable windshield for my 2007 Super Glide but it was a bit too tall for my liking. The 12.5" light tint recurve replacement shield from Clearview was exactly what I needed for a more aggressive and sporty look. It was super easy to order online and bolted right up to the existing framework with no issues. Clearview has top quality products!

I wasn't sure what to expect But when the windshield showed up. I was absolutely blown away, the packing of the windshield was first class. When I got the windshield mounted on my Harley. I was absolutely blown away!! Fit is perfect and clarity of the windshield is just outstanding and absolutely no distortions anywhere in the windshield and light smoke tint is Great!. I am beyond happy with My Clearview windshield. 100% recommend Clearview windshields.

I’m 5”6. I put the XL windshield on my bike and now I don’t deal with neck strain from the wind! Had the stock windshield on and really suffered on windy days. Couldn’t ride above 45mph with my helmet open (AGV Sportmodular) without nasty turbulence. Now I can cruise at 85mph no problem. I think this windshield upgrade is a must! The product also feels of extreme quality.

I did choose the GT because my Klockwerks was around the same size but one down fall is the GT style does extend by the Aux lights where you’re unable to use “fangs”. They interfere with each other and need to be removed.

The windscreen, XL is perfect for my height, I'm 6' with a 33" inseam. Those numbers are important when people are looking at what size windshield they need. I wish tall windshields looked more natural on the ST, but I'll take function. I was able to ride at 90mph plus comfortably with the XL windshield. I wish it was yellow or clear with a smoked lower half.

The stock windshield that comes with the 2024 Harley Davidson Road Glide is so inadequate it’s almost like having no shield at all. I ordered the Clearview small shield in Whiskey and tested it out in several different environments and speeds from city riding to highway. The new shield is a significant improvement over the stock both in terms of wind noise and buffeting. I can actually hear my engine and music so much better. The only place I feel the wind now is a small amount on my arms which is fine. For reference, I am 5’9 and 32 inch inseam. The small offers plenty of protection.

This is the 3rd CV I have ordered. Quality and craftsmanship are top-notch! No other shield can touch it. I had a "one-off" made for my Victory Vision, one on my Star RSTD, and now one for my '05 HD RK.
The only issue that I had- which is specific to this model and type of shield- is mounting without scratching the hell out of it!! With the 7-hole crossbar mounting hardware, I found it virtually impossible to put it all together without a scratch or nick on the shield. I was very careful to follow the directions provided for pre-fit and determine that the shield was the correct size. Upon doing the final mounting, I tried to mount with the plastic still on, figuring I would tear away the plastic wrap from around the brackets, but this was not possible. I had to completely remove the plastic wrap from around the areas where the brackets mounted and of course, I ended up with scratches. Long story short, my recommendation for these types of shields would be to have some sort of perforation on the plastic wrap so that only the areas for the mounting hardware are exposed and the rest of the shield is still protected when finalizing installation. As always- 5 Stars! You cannot buy a better product!!!

I was most impressed with the way Clearview reached out to me concerning my windscreen. There were a couple of minor flaws (very minor) embedded in the material. I received a phone call, pictures sent to my email highlighting their concerns and a follow up call in which the person gave me the option of taking ownership of it or not, if not they would make a new one for me. I decided to have them ship anyway and you really really have to look to see the flaws but such was their concern that they wanted to make sure I was happy with the product. They even discounted my price to accommodate me, their proposal not mine. You just don’t see that much anymore. I have no issues recommending this company to anyone. Top shelf.

Love my Clearview windshield it’s everything they said it was , package arrived on time and packed so well . I installed the windshield which took about 15 minutes super easy to do i went for a ride and did about 250 miles on a chilly 40* degree day this windshield kept the air off my head and put me in the pocket no buffering the whiskey tint looks very nice, this shield is 27” wide which is very nice on the air deflecting from your hands a bit too I'm a very satisfied customer and i would definitely buy this again and everybody that sees it just loves it.

The reason for a windscreen is to block the wind. I am on my second Road Glide and third windshield. The clearview shield I just just purchased does a better job of keeping the wind off my face than any others. I believe the curve on the top of the screen pushes most of the wind over my head, and I am 6`2" better than the others.

I'm 6'1" with a Saddleman seat on my ST. I went with a large, vented shield. It sits just below my eye line and keeps the air completely off me up to about 80mph. Vast improvement over the stock shield which put the airflow right into my face.
Fit and finish were spot on. I opted to use the factory grommets and bolts in place of the hardware provided as I found it to be a little needlessly complicated with various washers/spacers.

Great product , initially ordered smaller screen but I got a call from customer service and they walked me through sizing. Great windscreen bolted on yesterday took on highway north of 80mph no real issues , some buffeting at top of helmet but wasn’t pushing me around. Today a brisk 40 degrees had visor open whole way to work didn’t feel on face., averaged 40 mph. The only slight issue was the optional mounting screws were a different thread type than the Advantblack fairing . I guess they use a fine thread and Harley must use coarse thread.

I get a little rustle on my upper forearm and upper arm, and the air pocket it creates in front of me keeps my stunning goat from pointing forward like a chin horn. I'm 5'11", ride a '23 Heritage, and bought a 19.5" recurved GT width shield. Went with clear with black masking like the MoCo shield, matches the blacked out scheme of the bike. Very impressed with the shield quality, and moreover, the ride quality now. No more helmet buffeting, half helmet and shades no longer jostled by wind. The GT width is awesome, kicks the air out around so I can hear the motor a lot more than wind noise. Brackets when on easy, and lined up perfectly with the grommets on the bike, pops on and off like butter now, better than the MoCo did. You still get some updraft, so I have to tie off my beard or trim it down to keep it off my shades and clouding them up. I paired this with a set of fork deflectors, minimal difference in engine and oil temps, much nicer ride with the combo. Clearview has great customer service, shout out to Craig for all his help. first shield I got, bolt holes would not line up, even with fighting and bending, no way it would work withing modding. He got me a new one within a week, and it was PERFECT. Rare to find that level of customer service along side a great product. I will be back for more Clearview Shields on future bikes!

I have been riding with the original shield on my 2013 Road King. There was nothing wrong with my shield except that it was too tall for me. I always road sitting in a way to be able to look over it but it was always uncomfortable. Finally decided to do something about it. I got the 18.5" clear with recurve and GT width. The height was perfect for me. I am 5'8" and wear a full face helmet and the wind is now just above my helmet and I don't have to sit bolt up right to properly see over the shield.

The build quality is far superior than other competitors products, I have owned shields from many of the top brands, and I can say with the utmost confidence this is the best product available. Their quality control process is top notch and backed by their awesome customer service! After my windshield was produced a quality inspector noted a tiny “scratch” and they called me with options, re-build, or discount and ship with the guarantee that if it was unacceptable I could return it for a new one. I took the discount and upon receiving it, no way in hell could I find any defects! I had 3 other friends look for a defect and none of us could find anything wrong! I'm a tall rider and with the tallest HD windshield for their Road Glide the wind was at my chin. I tried one other aftermarket windshield but the wind was still at my eyes. Came across Clearview Shields on line and called and talked to them about their product. Each windshield is made to order. Their website has easy to follow measuring instructions so I ordered a XXL. Installed it as soon as came in and wind clears the top of my helmet. Great quality and fit perfectly. I would recommend Clearview Shields.

The windshield preformed very well on my 5k mile trip.the curved shield threw the wind over my head as I wanted,however I had an updraft in front of my knees that hit me right in the chest.not the best situation.I installed some deflectors and it has really helped that problem. I would recommend clear view windshields to anyone.I’ve had several and always found them to be a great product!

I chose to increase the screen height by about 2 inches over the stock screen. Spent a good deal of time ruminating over whether I wanted to look through the screen or over the screen. Using the guide hints on the site I chose to go to one step over stock and look over the screen. It was an excellent choice. The wind now hits me on the forehead instead of the chest. It is so comfortable now I can steer with one hand due to the lack of buffeting. The screen was incredibly easy to install. I am very happy with the quality, help in choosing the right screen height and the ease of installation.

If I was to have anything I would do different, I would have orded the blackout rather than smoke. Distortion through the shield because of the shape makes it alittle hard to look through. I did get a call from them because when it went through the tinting process a little mark appeared so they gave me a choice either a discount on that one or they will make another one (I just would have to wait a little longer). So I took the discount and glad I did because like the guy said it is very hard to notice. Would recommend.

I need helmet buffeting to be at the minimum.I understood the measuring for ordering. Also the new design picks up all my tank chrome and produces glare when the sun is overhead.I truly believe clear view produces great products , but not sure windshield is correct for what I require.

I have a 10 inch clear screen on a 2003 hd electra glide. It is optically clear and easy to clean. Thanks for a wind screen that actually works as advertised !

I just got a new 2023 Low Rider ST and I'm 6'1". I needed a windshield that protects me from the elements because I love long multi-state rides and hate suffering from freezing temps and wet rain, but also care about the "COOL FACTOR"! The OEM windshield looks cool but blows right in my face. I bought the KLOCK WERKS 8" & 10" windshields because they look cool and supposedly function to protect us from the elements! Not so, if you're over 6 feet tall! They also blew cold air directly into my helmet creating a brain freeze! I saw a YouTuber sharing his experience with the CLEARVIEW XL WINDSHIELD & decided, what do I have to lose? I've already spent a ton of money and CLEARVIEW allows you to test it out and return it, no questions asked, as long as you don't remove the protective screen on it. I tried it and within 10 minutes of highway riding, I ripped off the protective screen because I finally found a clear winner for me! If you're about 6 feet tall or more, get the the XL windshield and don't waste your time and money on anything else! NO JOKE! I just returned from a 4K+ mile trip from WA to AZ & BACK (WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, CO, UT, ID, OR again & back home to WA) The last day I rode almost 900 miles from Ogden UT to NW, WA in 18 hours and never had an issue with rain, rocks, or sucky helmet buffering. Even my GoPro atop my helmet was in the comfort zone! I LOVE THIS WINDSHIELD & THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL in Guiding me to the right size for my needs. Lastly, the windshield is 2x thicket and more durable than anything else I've used thus far! I could keep going, but I think I've made my point. I'm 100% satisfied. Just wish I knew about CLEARVIEW before buying a rack full of other unusable windshields.

Everything was as promised and that means a lot to me. The fit as well as the installation instructions were both very good. The GT width and the 18.5” height worked perfectly for my height and riding style. (I prefer to look over the shield rather than through it). No hardware problems or any other distractions. Communication was good as there was an issue, they called to clarify, remade the shield and shipped it out in the time frame specified. The quality of the shield is outstanding, nice thick material, crystal clear, the recurve is such that you can look trough it without distortion. The wind buffeting is without a doubt better than my stock windscreen. I’m happy with the purchase, I think it was a good choice.

6 ft with 31” inseam and the medium height is perfect on my ‘23 Road Glide ST. The shield fits the contour of the fairing great, but I couldn’t get the provided screw collars to fit into a couple of the holes (holes in fairing misaligned - thanks Harley) so I just installed without the collars and made sure not to overtighten. Been working great so far and looks really good! Also, the left side of the shield was formed a little thicker than the right, but not enough for me to complain. Medium height, sculpted in light gray.

The fifth windshield from Clearview I own. The latest is a look-through Sculpted GT - X-large 12" in Smoke for a 2012 Electra Glide Classic. At 75mph with a 9" Sculpted GT I get some buffeting that just barely nibbles the top of my helmet under most conditions. Now with the X-Large there isn't any buffet under most conditions. A 25 knot crosswind was enough to create some and downhill runs can cause some buffeting also. I've run 3 "Other" types of windshields Ace - Streams and OEM with some success but the Clearview Shield is the one I always go back to. Water to wash and any "Quick" wax and the original I have has lasted for 62 thousand miles and 17 years! No better bang for the buck than that in this day and age.

With the stock shield I couldn't open my visor without wind going straight into my face/eyes. This solved it, still slight wind but night n day difference compared to stock. And the lines and height looks sooo good.

There was an issue with fit on my order and I was instructed to send my shield and mounts back with my new shield and they hit it out of the park. You may have to wait but these shields are made to order and customer service is excellent. When I got my order back in a timely fashion after the fit issue all I had to do was bolt it to bike and ride. I am very happy with the shield. I am 6-1 and the large shield is perfect. I have to try my hardest to sit up tall enough to even start to hear it, let alone feel it. Fitment, I would give a 96% on. Fits great, but not perfect perfect. That being said, there is nothing in the fitment that would keep my from getting another.

Now I only get turbulence with my visor on my 3/4 open. Expect a manufacturing lead time, they are built to order.

Night and Day difference from my last shield. Clearview 's shield is double the thickness and their design team definitely put in some hours planning the layout. More coverage in all the right locations and different materials that allow the use of many different cleaners and protectors to include RainX. After a seat change put me well over the top of my 19 inch shield I had to look into multiple manufacturers to find any over 19 in. Clearview was actually recommended by one of their competitors. Definitely a cold weather game changer and worth the wait!

It does knock more wind off than the clockwork without the distortion. Didn't like the fact that it took 33 days to get it. Poor service.

I went with the Large in Dark Grey. I have a saddlemen seat that defiantly raised my riding position. I’m 5’11” and the wind just grazes over the top of my helmet with the large windscreen. The ride is so much better than stock. If you want it to clear your helmet then go with XL. But if you don’t mind a little bit of wind hitting the top of the helmet then this is the one. I love it and get tons of compliments on it.

I found Clearview Shields, sent an email with the specs and they quickly returned with a suggestion. They also made sure to mention that as long as the protective masking is left on, I could check it out and return if it wasn't right!
I purchased the 10.5" for winter riding which means I have to look *through* the windshield instead of over it which is new for me. The windshield is so clear though that it actually improves my vision just a bit! I was a little surprised and kept checking that, but it does. That's not a medical claim for this product and it's probably specific to my eyesight, but it is actually the case for me!
The cleaning instructions are a nice added touch that shows that they care about the customer experience. Highly recommended.

I've used OEM windshields on my bike since I purchased it new in 2009. It was time to purchase a new one and after shopping the vendors at various biker events and searching the internet, I found this company. The reviews were heavy on the positive side and the pricing was right. Simply stated, it does what the website tells you it does. We went to the 2023 Harley Davidson Homecoming event this July, putting the windshield through highway miles, slow, winding two lane miles, and city miles. We experienced rain and sunshine, bugs and debris, and the windshield held up great. I experienced less buffeting on the top of my helmet and more of the rain was pushed up and over both of us. Make sure you understand your riding style when measuring (looking THROUGH or looking OVER) the windshield. They customer service will answer any questions you have. They hooked me up so I had my windshield before the trip to Milwaukee and I couldn't be happier with the investment.

I bought a used bike that had a 10" shield and I didn't like the way it interfered with my line-of-sight, especially on hilly roads. The website said an 8.5" recurve provided similar wind protection. And it does! The line-of-sight is much improved, and even at highway speeds there is minimal buffeting. I also like the way Clearview Shields allows you to try it out as long as you keep the film covering on. A great purchase!

I chose to be able to look over the screen. With the recurve, the wind just barely touches the top of my helmet, exactly how I wanted it. Windscreen provides a nice, quiet "bubble" of still air. I was using a stock 10 inch Ultra shield on my Streetglide but had to look thru it, I purchased the Sport 14 inch (I am 5’6”) Clearview recurve sculpted and it is absolutely amazing!! I love that I can see over it and the added shield on the side took a lot of wind off my arms too! Absolutely love this shield and is made really well, thicker than stock but fit’s perfectly.

When you take off the stock shield you will realize exactly how flimsy it is. It's almost as though they make it so cheaply knowing that it's likely to get replaced similar to their seats. The clear view shield is awesome. Mine is about 4 in taller than the stock shield and about an inch wider. It is a superior product in every way and well worth the money it cost. This is the third Clearview shield I've purchased for various bikes over the years.

I needed a windshield 1" lower than the stock 2018 Ultra Limited in order to improve my vision. The concern was by lowering the windshield, my wife might experience excess wind buffeting. I ordered the standard 1" shorter shield which didn't increase the buffeting but did increase extra wind on the sides. I checked with Clearview and they suggested the GT model. I returned the first one and within a few days received the replacement. Outstanding! The windshield delivered everything my wife and I were looking for. Thank you Craig for your excellent shield, service and super fast turn-around!

I'm very happy I purchased this for my Low Rider ST. Purchased the small which is 2.5" higher than OEM and it makes a world of difference at freeway speeds. From unbearable at 75+MPH after 20 minutes to several hours with no fatigue. The only issue is the fit, along the bottom is doesn't fit flush and sticks out several mm causing a gap. I still recommend, but they should clean the fit up better.

We would love to close the gap but due to the varied fitment between the base fairing and the audio upgraded option, the audio upgrade changes the mount location enough that a better fitting screen on the non-audio upgrade became uncomfortably close on the audio upgrade. honestly if you put slight pressure down on the back of the screen you can close the gap a bit more yourself but it will still need some room to avoid screen to fairing conflicts

This is the first HD I owned that has a windshield. First I had alot of helmet bobble with my full face. I added fork deflectors that helped and now changed out to this windshield. I am a tall rider and this helped out alot. I also like the vent option for air flow in slow traffic or town riding. Highly recommend, it works great and looks great on my 2017 HD Road King.

I ordered the XL and at 5’-10” with the stock seat, I think I need the medium size. Windscreen does a great job at increasing the rider pocket and deflecting the wind over your helmet. The screws that were sent were too short and had to use the stock screws to mount to the fairing.

The stock screen on my 2013 Ultra Classic did not work for the one size fits all. I am 6'4" and the stock wind-shield is actually too tall (who knew) and decided on a large, 10.5"L (lowering the height ~2"), +5"W, Light Gray tint with 5 position vent. This windshield is extremely well finished and a perfect fit. With these dimensions I can, in my normal riding position just see over it and I can comfortably slump down slightly behind the Windshield as required. The 5-position vent works exceptionally well and drastically reduces wind noise under 55mph when open and is a breath of fresh air (pun intended) during these 100*F humid Kentucky days. Air flow goes straight over me and the passenger. Totally recommend these windshield. It has drastically improved the ride comfort. Definitely a five-star product.

I'm satisfied with the windshield. It fit perfect. The customer service leaves much to be desired. I called on many occasions to ask about windshield options. Never spoke to any one. Finally took a shot in the dark and ordered the windshield. A month later sent an e mail to check status. Got an email stating the time between ordering and when to check status. After that time went by I sent another e mail checking status. This time I got an email saying they were delayed. Another month after that I checked again. Another delay. Finally got the shield after quite some time. Product quality. 5 stars customer service 1 star. Honestly if they weren't the only game in town for a sidecar windshield. I'd have bought somewhere else.

I'm 5'10" and the Size M Vented is all I needed. Some people my height think it's too short but I don't. I think visually, it "fits" the bike well, too.
Bottom line: It's cheaper than the HD Tall windshield and probably just as good, if not better and it doesn't leave my wishing for something better.

Am so pleased with my Clearview Shield. After researching and reviewing my options I went with a taller and wider Shield for my 2022 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic 114. I also added curve at top, light gray for the upper half, and painted black for the lower half. It looks good and really helps with excess wind and buffeting. I highly recommend Clearview Shields!

Just test rode with the new windshield, I love it.
I would estimate that there was an ~2" mild area above my helmet before the main force of the wind was felt, 70+mph etc., using my hand and slowly raising it starting at my face.
I even raised my body up, easily well over 2", and did not feel any wind force on my head that was at all annoying, just the normal amount of minor wind, not the main force. Which was actually kind of strange because that 14.5" windshield that I tested and returned seemed too low, I don't remember all the particulars but I returned it so obviously it didn't work for me.
I took a bunch of pictures in a much better area than in the garage, lol. I'm going to go through them really quick and crop or whatever is needed and I will send them to you.
I'm going to want another windshield similar for my other 2003 FXDWG. I've been running a Corbin Dual Tour seat on it for a while, and I also have a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady for it. On the two-tone bike I was just riding, I am running a Corbin Classic Solo that I had made specifically for me at a ride-in appointment in Hollister.
I just purchased another used classic solo seat, and I also have one on my 2003 FXDL Low Rider. One of those is going to go onto the Gunmetal Pearl 2003 bike, and I'm selling the heated dual tour seat that's on it. Once I get that seat figured out I'm going to want to get a shorter windshield from you because the one that's currently on it is OEM. (Pretty good chance that the seat currently on the FXDL is staying there since that one works really well with the short windshield that I purchased from you)
That OEM height on the one that was on this two-tone bike had the top edge right where I didn't want it, and then there was distortion when looking through the shield just below the top and it was right at the most important place for me to see, with my height in the saddle on that bike using that seat. SO much better now!

I have the medium height with medium grey tint with vent on a Lowrider ST El Diablo. At 5’ 7” I am looking over it most of the time. The wind just hits the top of my helmet at highway speeds. Behind the windshield my shirt has a tendency to float around in the low pressure area. The wind noise and buffeting is greatly reduced and allows more use of the audio system. The bike is definitely more comfortable with the additional height and width.
The tint is slightly lighter than stock ( good since it’s taller and I look through it more often).
The clarity is slightly cloudy compared to stock. Maybe its the tint or lack of coatings but its not bad. Again, I am looking over it most always.
The attachment hardware isn’t as fancy as the HD hardware but isn’t bad.
Clearview made what seemed like a long wait very bearable with good communication and updates. I was impressed.
Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. Its not absolute top quality but its not $500 -$1000 either.

This is my second Clearview Shield I've purchased for my bike. I liked my first one so much, I bought a second one a size larger. Not that there was anything wrong with my first shield, but I wanted a taller one for when it's colder, I have a passenger on the back, or when I'm taking long highway trips with my full face or modular helmet, just to eliminate any buffering at sustained highway speeds. I like that there is no distortion in the recurve, and that the shield doesn't flex and vibrate in the wind. If you're on the fence, just order it. It's worth it.

Mounting was relatively easy. Except the hols on the top mount were slightly larger than the screw. The whole was not big enough to use the rubber washers with the inset to mount as per HD. I was able to find a sleeve small enough to fit and uses two washers instead of the one-piece rubber grommets as originally used with HD. Nice to see clean after 130,000 miles. The product looks great! Customer service was outstanding. I liked hearing how happy it made the representative/Owner that I was replacing one with so many miles on it. The lag time was not too bad. It was made in the USA.

I love the look of the stock shield on my 2023 LRST but it is horrible for wind protection. I'm 5.8 and it buffers right in my face. I do wear a bucket helmet. I went with the small because it 3 inches higher than the stock and now the wind hits right at my forehead which is fine,. I could go to the medium so it would clear my head but I don't want to take away the look of the bike. Even at 80 or 100 MPH it fine with a bucket helmet. I love the shield and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a small but changed my mind and aske for a medium but still got the small in the mail. I was human error but they called me and I'm ok with the small. Look great. great quality and price.

I haven't had a chance to try it with interstate speeds yet but I feel like I can hear the motorcycle more which means there's less wind buffeting which is what I was going for in the first place.

I haven't had a chance to try it with interstate speeds yet but I feel like I can hear the motorcycle more which means there's less wind buffeting which is what I was going for in the first place.

I had terrible helmet buffeting with the stock windshield on my 2019 Ultra Limited.
After talking to a live person at Clearview, I ordered the large, wide version with the 5-position vent. Got a call before it shipped letting me know there was a small defect in the screen. They offered a discount if I wanted to have it shipped to see if the defect was objectionable, and if so I could return it. After getting the screen, I could not see the defect, even though the area was highlighted.
Once installed my buffeting problem is almost 100% solved. A great improvement over stock. After playing with the vent, I am glad they suggested it, the vent position makes a huge difference in the bubble......
They have knowledgeable people who can help you make the right choice and great quality; you can tell they take pride in their work.

I purchased the medium height 3.5 taller than stock with the light grey tint.
The stock windshield had the air hitting right at the top of my helmet visor creating lots of helmet noise. Now it goes just over the helmet at 70 mph with none of the wind noise I had before.
The light grey is lighter than stock but not by much.
I am 5' 10" tall.
Fit and finish is top notch and the was a perfect fit. I used the stock hardware on the shield so you need push in the rubber grommets which can be tight.

I do not "feel" a difference in air movement between this curved windshield and a stock straight/flat, 12" non contoured windshield. I expected a better air pocket for the rider, but no improvement.

I ordered a small light grey vented screen for my 22 Lowrider ST. I wanted it to try and minimize the wind noise getting to my helmet from the factory one. It came nicely packed with a ton of protective foam wrapping and a clear plastic film still on the screen with my order information and cleaning instructions and installation hardware. I did not notice instructions on how to install the supplied hardware which I thought was unnecessary, because I liked the factory hardware better. Installation was a breeze and no issues whatsoever!
I just finished a 1000mi trip to New England and i couldn't have been happier! Through rain and wind and sun, high speeds, the small screen did great! It filters a good amount of the wind noise and still allows me to see over the top of it. I'm 5'6" tall. I recommend this product...

The windshield is a perfect fit for my 2023 Road Glide 3. There is no distortion when looking through the windshield and it provides an excellent barrier to the wind striking me in the chest. Looks amazing. Fits perfectly. Wind deflection is much improved over stock. The only suggestion I have is to include black nylon washers (or new grommets) with the purchase. Because the windshield is heavier gauge than the stock windshield, to ensure the fit is snug you have to properly torque the screws (not too tight) and the screw heads tend to pull through the rubber grommets that came with the stock windshield.

I bought a competitors windshield for my Low Rider ST. I'm 5'11" and that windshield did nothing to keep the wind off my face/head.
I just installed my Clearview Shield and, while I can still feel a bit of wind, most of it just travels up over my head. I'm happy and the bike is happy.

I am 5’9” and this windshield made a huge difference at 70mph and below. I bought the small because I wanted to be able to see above the windshield when I ride and to keep as much as possible the original bike look. I still get some air on top of the helmet at high speeds, but it is not uncomfortable. It took 4 weeks for the product to arrive, but it was worth the waiting time since by then they had improved the product (2nd gen) and corrected the initial fitting issues. I definitely recommend it.

I originally had the 18” with recurve but wanted more protection from the buffeting. This fits the bill. It is not only taller and wider, but extends further down than the standard windshield. The main problem with the smaller shield was the turbulence coming from around the tank area. This shield comes down far enough and covers the tops of the “fangs” which eliminates that. Makes the ride MUCH more comfortable.

I have to wear reader glasses to see what I'm doing but I didn't I just looked at stuff and kinda put it together without being able to see things are super good focus and everything just bam perfect there on looks excellent. Could not be happier with the product. So just want to share that with you your second generation. I don't know what was wrong with your first generation of course I wasn't around then but yeah this is this is super nice super super nice. Thank you very much very satisfied. I didn't hate the stock screen. However, the medium w/ vent improved things greatly over stock. Large would probably have been better @ highway speeds, but I didn't want to sacrifice wind flow around town...and like I said, I never hated the stock piece so wasn't looking for Gold Wing peace in the saddle.
I can ride helmet visor up, no problem to 60mph. Over 70, very mild buffeting depending on wind direction and speed. Much quieter than stock regardless of condition.
Recommended purchase for FXLRST.

I ordered 01/02/23 and received the first generation windscreen. The windshield shipped before I expected and was delivered well packaged and undamaged. I inspected the product and was happy with the materials and condition.
After installation the windshield fit was poor. The product didn't fit well within the windshield fairing channel. The vent opening did not align well with the vent opening and the outside edges of the windshield did not follow the conures of the fairing.
The performance of the windshield was a huge improvement over stock. It considerably reduced the noise in my helmet and the little bit of extra width helped to get more of my shoulders into the pocket. At 5'11 the medium has the wind hitting right at the top of my visor which was an improvement over the large HD shield in my opinion.
I know Clearview Shields came out with a Gen 2 windshield very soon after the release of the original product that addressed the fitment issues. I recently sent them an email requesting a replacement an have not received a response.

Riding a motorcycle in Florida can be a culinary experience - LOTs of bugs! When the sun goes down, there's a smorgasbord of not-so-tasty critters headed your way. I'm trying to cut back on my eating so I purchased the 21-inch windshield with the recurve for my 2005 Springer Softail Classic for the compact brackets. I also ordered the 3-inch wider shield because, well, I AM trying to cut back on my eating. LoL..
I haven't stepped on the scales yet, but the shield has worked fantastically. I didn't think I'd prefer running with a windshield all the time but it's nice not having wind whipping around my glasses and trying to tear my hat off of my head, even when worn backward.
I didn't know about the "compact" or "full-size" brackets until I looked at Clearview's website. Notice the distance between the outer bolts on the cross-bar of the windshield. Mine were close, as shown in this listing so I ordered the 'compact' set. It fit without issue.
When the shield arrived, I went out to the shed to install it while keeping with CS's requirement of keeping the protective covering on it. I took a short ride that night and instantly noticed a difference. Riding with the Clearview Shield on my Springer has definitely left a different taste in my mouth! Count me as a satisfied customer!

Purchased this for a 2007 1200C sportster. The factory windshield was not the best set up. Rode in 50 degree weather, really like the kick up on the top edge, also it's a little wider by 3". Wish the company made one about 5" wide. Nice windshield.

First and foremost, the quality is excellent! You can tell they care about their product and getting it to you without any hassle or damage. The fitment could be a little cleaner. The shield doesn’t fit exactly flush against the weather strip, but it does seal. The tabs on the end come up off the fairing some, and while an eyesore it doesn’t have any negative effect. For reference I am 6ft tall and my seat sits me about an inch higher than stock seat. Around town, the shield does great and I like having it there. However, at about 70mph you’ll get some minor buffeting. At 90mph it becomes aggressive buffeting that I would not want to put up with for very long. The buffeting hits right at the top of my helmet, and as it builds it comes around the sides as well. Due to the design of the bike, I don’t think a shield could be made any wider or at less of a steep angle without it coming in contact with the stock handlebars. All in all it’s a good shield, but I was hoping for better performance and better fitment. As one of the three available options for this bike, I’d still recommend it.
