Got a freewheeler with harley shield. At 60mph started to have turbulence on helmet and at 70 so much so that head would shake. Got new shield from Clearview. Was the same height as harley shield. Because of the stiffness of the new shield and the flip on the top I have no turbulence at any speed. Shield is clear to look through including where the flip is. Took a long time to get child but was worth it with results.

I'm 5'9" and bought the 16.5" in GT width that also has the 5 position vent. The screen has a slight outward curl at the top and, in the GT width, the wings on either side of the headlight are slightly wider and curve slightly downward, which I believe minimizes the upward draft that causes helmet buffeting. Highway riding at 70 and 80 mph is a lot more tolerable with regard to buffeting. I'm an old guy so never in much of a hurry, but I do appreciate what makes the ride more comfortable, and the Clearview shield does that 100% better than the stock HD screen.

Definitely a thicker material than factory original. Well made, easy swap over of factory mounting brackets, no modifications needed. PERFECT.

Very impressed with the quality and ease of installation. Perfect fit. Much more durable than OEM. 24 inch recurve and the extra wide sides make for improved protection, reducing helmet buffeting considerably. Love the five position vent. Extremely happy with product. This is my third Clearview windshield; each was for a different bike. Highly recommend.

This windshield Is a perfect fit. My husband has a two 2009 Xbones , and we have been looking for a Replacement windshield forever. Research high and low.I was so excited when I found the Clearview site. I ordered a dark tinted windshield first, but it was too dark.Couldn't see very well at night.And since my husband only rides a bike never a cage, it's very important that he can see through it! We ordered a second windshield, smoke color, and it is absolutely perfect for day and night; mthank you so much!

Found a 20 page review online for Gold Wing windshields. It was very scientific and included all the major brands and even accounted for different height riders. Clearview came out #1 for creating a nice quiet cockpit cocoon, guiding the wind around even your shoulders. No turbulence at all.
They also offer different levels of tint.
