The hardware did not fit well, used original h/ware to install. no problem.
Since My body is 6,1" and this shield is max height, it s nowlike a mini-gold wing.
Love the comfort and view.

I had a Yamaha Warrior with a Clearview shield and thought it worked great, so I was happy they made one with a vent for my new Road King.
It's been too cold to use the vent, but the curve at the top gets rid of the harsh wind noise I was getting in my helmet off the OEM windscreen.

This is the second ws I've purchased. I had previously installed one on my 2011 RG and was very pleased with the form and function. Was one of the the first upgrades on my new 2020 RG Limited.

my mechanic told me about these guys so I went with them as their prices are very competitive. I am absolutely thrilled with the windshield, it is so clear I can’t believe it!! I love the curve and smoked tint. It gives my bike a whole new look. I would highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a windshield for your bike. This is the best windshield I’ve ever had.

On June 29 we began a 2,400 mile ten day tour of the New England states where we had a "Clearview" of the country side. To you and the team at "Clearview Shields" I extend a THANK YOU for an excellent product. As a followup I now have over 4,00 miles on the windshield and it still looks like new. The shield blocks the wind and bugs but allows enough air circulation for a pleasurable ride. Your windshield is 2X the thickness of my stock shield. I ordered the 'looking through' height with extra width and the windshield was an exact fit with under 1/2 hour for installation. My only regret is that I didn't order it sooner. I have attached a couple of pictures to show what a compliment the windshield is to the bike. Thanks again for supplying a quality product and exceptional customer service.

I installed the hardware on my Indian Chief Vintage Clearview Recurve Windshield Saturday and went for a 200 mile ride on Sunday on the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.

I installed my new, "medium" windshield last Saturday. Since I already had the lowers, I was excited to see how they interacted with this windshield...
Although the windshield I got is labeled, "medium", it's their largest size, unless they make something custom for you, (and I believe they will, if you ask). Sitting on the bike, using their formula, at 5' 8", this is the perfect height for looking, "over" the windshield. It's about 2" higher than my 21" Indian windshield. I got the dark gray one with the recurve.
The windshield did exactly what I wanted! It got the wind out of my face and quieted my ride. My wife frequently rides with me and she said she doesn't have to fight wind buffeting any longer. One of our regular rides we do is through farm land. Lots of bugs! Typically, my helmet and shield would have a nice selection of bugs on it after a round trip. On our first trip out there with this windshield, I didn't have ONE BUG on my helmet or face shield! In that respect, I would give it 5 stars.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of handling. It's not horrible but I lost some of the stability I gained when I put on the lowers with the Indian windshield. A little bit of that shakiness returned and the bike seems blown around a little more. It could very well be because of the extended surface area. If there was a way I could, "fine-tune" that out, by adjusting the lowers up or down, it would be perfect. Perhaps Clearview have a suggestion.
All in all, it was a great purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. Oh, one last thing, the dark gray looks GREAT on the burgundy metallic Scout. I've seen a clear one on another bike, I I think this one looks far better.

I've been using my medium gray lowers for several months. Prior to that, I was running with just the medium-size Indian windshield. The bike was squirrily on the road, especially around trucks. But, even in clear air, anything 80 and above made the bike feel unstable on the road.
After putting on the Clearview lowers, it was a different bike! It's now stable on the road and I'm much less nervous when passing big rigs. It is, without a doubt, the best money you can spend on your Scout if you have a windshield. It firmly plants the front end on the road, that's the only way I can describe it.

Let me tell you what you already know. The shield performs as advertised.I am very pleased with every aspect of the transaction from talking to you personally to riding behind the product that works as promised. The head buffeting that I was getting from the stock Road Glide shield is a non issue now. I get just enough air movement to keep things comfortable and my riding experience that much more enjoyable.
