VENTING A WINDSHIELD HAS MANY BENEFITS TO PROVIDING A SMOOTHER MORE COMFORTABLE RIDE. UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE WAITING TO FILL A BACK ORDER FROM OUR SUPPLIER FOR THESE VENTS WHICH BASED ON PAST YEARS EXPERIENCE MAY TAKE SOME TIME TO RESOLVE
WE WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE SOME OPTIONS TO HELP YOU MOVE FORWARD WITH A VENTED WINDSHIELD DURING THIS WAIT. PLEASE REVIEW THE OPTIONS BELOW AND COPY AND PASTE YOUR CHOICE INTO THE NOTES SECTION AT CHECKOUT.
1. You are always welcome to wait. We can send you an email once we get the vents in and when your windshield is estimated to be shipped out. Vent Status notifications are sent periodically. Simply order with all desired attributes (including the vent)
2. We can get your windshield made (with vent hole) and shipped out, sending the back ordered vent separately once they come in. Simply order your screen will the desired attributes (selecting no vent under vent choice).Paste this option in the notes section at checkout or insert a note for us to cut the hole for the vent. Once we receive the vents we will ship them out to you and you can install them yourself with our help in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14RxTLE-0dw.
3. If you have a vented shield now and your current vent is in good shape, then you can simply transfer it to the new screen.Simply order your screen will the desired attributes (selecting no vent under vent choice). Paste this option in the notes section at checkout or insert a note for us to cut the hole for the vent. Install your existing vent yourself with our help in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14RxTLE-0dw.
4. Aftermarket Vents may be available from multiple vendors. Our experience with these is that while they fit the opening and function like the OEM Vent, they will not last as long. You are welcome to seek these out for your screen, but we do not warranty them due to the lesser quality.Simply order your screen will the desired attributes (selecting no vent under vent choice). Paste this option in the notes section at checkout or insert a note for us to cut the hole for the vent.
