Just wanted to let you know, I received my new shield today for my 1983 BMW R80RT and have already have it installed and test rode it, works great. Bolted right up to existing holes, no fitment problems at all, and the re-curve is the way to go for anyone over 6ft, it was worth the wait, thanks again.

Went for a ride today and noticed that my shield was set to all the way down. That being the case I think I can say that with it all the way in the down position it gives about as much protection (maybe a hair more) than the stock shield all the way up. I went ahead and popped it all the way up and noticed that the wind hit just about at the top of the helmet. So, I guess in this position the "air bubble" is maybe 3 or so inches higher than stock.

I mounted the shield on Wednesday night-it worked perfectly- easy installation, and all the mounting holes were an exact match. Thanks for the quality. It looks great, but have not been able to take a good ride yet- but plan to this weekend.

Wow! I'm one of those folks that live on a motorcycle...2.5 hours a day 5 days a week commuting. My old R80RT has 93k miles on it and no one wrenches on it but me. When it came to a windshield, I ordered two, one from you, one from Parabellum. The PB arrived first so I set it up and test drove it for a few hundred miles. It was cheap looking, wobbled at speed (very thin), and I took them up on their 30 day satisfaction warranty by returning it. Next I put on the clearview. Superb fit and finish. Nice and thick, no stability issues. I opted for the big cat eye vents...a real head turner.
