It actually looks like a factory designed one that works better. The quality is better than the Triumph stock one and it fit on with no problems.

My recommendation is that anyone 5’8″ – 6′ that has the Triumph Summer Screen should buy this shield. Because they already have the mounting hardware, it is not only the best solution, it
would also be the cheapest. I’ve tried a number of solutions and realized that there is no
perfect wind screen. This is as big a shield as I want for appearances and the best compromise I’ve found. The Windvest had less air hitting my face but the wind hitting my neck and shoulders was very annoying. I think this new shield is
the best looking 17″ screen I’ve seen on any America or Speedmaster. I also highly recommended the light gray tint because of the greater invisibility. All the clear shields I’ve seen are more reflective and more noticeable. From these pictures you can see that this shield in no way distracts from the sporty look of the bike.

The shield looks great, the top of the shield lines up with the bottom of my nose.

My face is protected and notice the wind skirting pass the top of my helmet. There are some side wind gusts now and then at 80+ mph (which can be expected).

If one wants to be even more protected, I believe a screen would have to extend above one’s entire head or better yet, drive your car (lol).

The shield is well proportioned at 17″ and is solid! Not sure if the original mounting hardware would support a screen much taller, there could be windshield buffeting at higher speeds.

GREAT Product! You should put your company logo on it too….

    Thanx again!

    Light Grey Medium Summer Screen

New tinted Clearview windshield on my 2009 Triumph America. I’m very happy with the look, fit & finish. Compared to the Triumph Summer Screen, the Clearview windshield adds 4″ to the screen height which is perfect for my 5′-7″ height. Wind turbulence is now acceptable as it has moved to the top of my helmet and away from the sides of my head (unacceptable).

    Thanks for the quality product.

Thought you could use this testimonial from a happy customer on your social media:

I purchased a larger windshield for my 2007 Triumph America. The stock Triumph “full” windshield was a little too short. I was getting buffetting and serious neck pains on longer rides over 4 hours. I was not impressed with the popular competitors, as their windshields required additional brackets, and included a lot of supports across the windshield that look cluttered and distracting. Their final cost was approaching $500 all in. That’s a lot of dough for another couple inches in height.
Clearview offered a larger windshield that used the existing brackets, at around $200. It seemed too good to be true. It was quickly shipped, took me 15 minutes to put it on, and two days later I went on a 1,000 mile trip to the Florida Keys. It worked perfectly. No buffeting, no neck pains. The shield sits 2″ below my sight lines (I’m 5’10”). I was worried it was still too short but it’s great. I was also concerned that without the braces across the shield like the competitors, it would shake and rattle at highway speeds. No way, it’s rock solid.
Since the Keys trip, I’ve done another 2,000 mile round trip to Chicago. Thanks Clearview for an awesome shield at a great price that’s easy to install. Slam Dunk!
